hi guys, been noticing everytime i wrap my coils 24 26 28 awg 2,2.5,3mm to 0.5ohm and install into my subtank rba and start vaping at around 16-20w, after like half a day the wire coil turns black, and i mean black not brown.. i understand that sweet juice will tends to gunk up the coil and make it turn brownish but mine is black.. wondering is it normal or am i doing something wrong? thanks :D

Brown and black for coil is the same. There is no racial prejudice for kanthal. They are One.

Any of these dark colours signify caramelisation. They come from the same spectrum. You must not assume black represents a calamity for your coil. It could just mean the sugar has caramelised faster. Brown to black. There is no other negative reason. You must be calm.

Please, for the love of God and all the saints, attempt a dry burn and water dipping exercise for this coil, and observe if any black particles are egressed from your coil. If so, my explanation is moot. If not, God help you mate cos I can't. :'(

do they look like deposits on the surface or the wires themselves?

If the former, it's just the rate of your sugar being burnt repeatedly. If it's the latter, time to change wires.

Black, brown, white, yellow... we are one. Black doesn't mean bad as always, you know. Why suppress them when they also deserve equal opportunities as the rest? Imagine how they feel when they are associated with catastrophe all the time :(

Why is vaporado quiet? Just because of black coils you have given up on life? How could you? Why must you burden your family and loved ones with the pain of your demise, robbing them of future years blessed with your presence?????
