Kato box mode with kick and 18650 battery

Got tired of voltage drop over the day and found a easy way to get a kick in my kato mod and still use the 18650 battery..
Removed the center pin,drilled the top cap delrin to 4.5mm and put in a nemesis top cap screw..Alternative M5 screw cut to size..and not drill the delrin..
Put in the kick with some paper on the side to get earth to connect..
after fitting it back together tight down the nemesis screw to lock the kick in place..
You need a rta with adjustable 510..

Can you kick it without modifications? Can I just drop the kick in the battery tube facing down and then the battery possitive end first? Thinking of getting the 18500 to run with kick and a 18350...?

Can anyone answer? Can I just put the kick inside the.batt tube? Should I.remove the spring? Anyonr with experience with the 18500 version (though rhey look the same)?
