Well today is a day for putting fires out here at the office and finding out a bunch of stuff that the old boss didn't do....Oh, and never mind the interdepartmental relationships that she burned that I now get to reforge....Or the gazillions of reams of paper stuffs that she kept that will need to be looked through and disposed of/ filed as needed....Looks like it's going to be a few months before it's smooth sailing around here

I just can't understand why when you work for a court that you would want to alienate the one department that writes the citations that keeps you in business....
sometimes folks get myopic and put personalities out in front of principles (or principals, depending on context...)
That's about the way I'm working it today lol! It doesn't help that we are down a person since the hiring process just started. I just keep taking deep breaths and reminding myself that I pulled one town's court out of the fire within a 6 month period and I can do it here too--just need to find my "patience for stupidity" reservoir.
