i tend to do all my power steeping in glass bottles (transfers vibrations better) and they will sit in the water bath - and i generally run it heated for a total of about 2.5 hours worth of cycles in 25 minute increments (most my timer will do) with a good shake and bottle burp (take cap off for a few seconds after shake) in between cycles
Thanks, DC! I knew I could count on you. I read in my manual that plastic actually transfers vibrations better but it wasn't talking about juice, lol. Unfortunately, juice was never addressed! I have the KC (V7) in a glass bottle and I need to make up more ABMF so I will mix that in a glass bottle as well. I think this machine goes up to 30 minute increments and it also has a degas feature, which I am just now reading about. It does have heat, and for cleaning the manual says to use heat for the first 20 minutes of a 30 minute cycle, then turn it off because the water will stay warm anyway. Wow, 2.5 hours... I guess I will do that tomorrow, then. I guess the machine can be loud and I am in relax mode after a very long day. :D

for what it is worth, it seems some fruit flavors (key lime, notably, thus far) don't like heated UC - they have to time steep, the old fashioned way...
Good to know! I haven't made any straight fruit ones yet. Just the 2 I mentioned and the peanut butter/banana one I am working on. I have a LOT of fruit flavorings, though!

Music Appreciation Class.

It has come to my attention that some of our younger members may not have been introduced to the classics.

For your edification:

Back in the day, my best friends's sister's boyfriend was Sir Mix-a-Lot's best friend. They hung out all the time but I never did get to meet him. :(

no worries about the 'babblin' - you's fam... keep in mind, there are plenty of mods with more wattage, the two big pluses of the rx200, imo, are super battery life (with 3 18650's) and the ergonomics - while it is heavy, the form factor - in hand- is really comfortable... and even with my tfv4 and crown, i rarely go over 50 watts in general, unless i am rocking one of the big boy coils in the tfv4 - what NEEDS to happen is that you win an rx200 (in one of the plethora of contests running) so that all ya need is some batteries :)
Let's hope so!!
If anything i will get the batteries while they are on sale.
I typically go through a 5 pk of coils between two tanks in like a month ago a half.
I go think i will need a new tank. Everyone hollers about three that ive seen..
Crown
Tfv4
Herakles
.... Which one pushes more and has best flavor?
Also ive heard the crown leaks "like a sieve"
The tfv4 .... Holy crap what coil? Theres like 13...
I hear herakles is pretty awesome... Anyone tried it?

Heat or no heat? How long? Free floating in water or in a plastic bag? DC? Anyone? Halp.

Worthless?!?!? NEBBER!!! Weak? Let (s)he, who has but one mod, cast the first stone! :)

Hey everyone. Thank you so much for telling me where you guys had gone. You all are my family and I was missing you very much. I have an event this weekend so things are really busy for me but I'm hoping to have more time once it's all done. :) Thank you so much for inviting me, Louis :)

Had a bunch of clear cartos that somebody actually wanted. They are now en route to a happier place :)

Re: thread....whoo doggie. That is all!

YAY FOR Recycle\ReUse\Restore!!!! About 10 years ago, I had an old Reel Tape reader in the storage room (Yes, the computer kind) that I NEVER would have guessed anyone would want. HUGE. Put the big spool in, and vacuum would suck in the end of the tape and read it. Just COULDN'T put it out in the trash.. Put it on Ebay, for $30, free shipping. IT SOLD! Cost me a lil more than the $30 to SHIP it, but hey!
