My whole world has been flipped upside down the last couple weeks and I need to get away from here so I can get my head straight. So funny! Thanks for the morning smile, I needed it. My hubby's aunt passed away last night. She turned 90 the end of December. We knew it was coming, there wasn't much left of her. Now we wonder how his mother, who is 2 older, will handle it. I fear more sad times are coming.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! Love you all! ...Bf is taking me out for a steak dinner and then we're going to watch a couple of movies that I picked out, so a nice relaxing evening, just the way I like it.

Some VERY encouraging news on the BDD front. Took her in for an "ear cleaning" today. Vet says her ear canal is looking very clean - no gunk. The surgical site is looking really good, too. Leaving sutures in for a bit longer - I take her back on Tuesday for one more cleaning, and if all is still looking well, he'll probably remove the final sutures

WHEW....... I'm sure she'll be elated for the CoS to be removed!

Mixed up over 250ml of new flavors today. A couple of 10mL bottles and the rest 30mL from a bunch of new recipes I snagged off that leDIYpournuls site @Kodak suggested a LONG time ago.....

Now to redo some tanks and PAR-TAY.....

Thank you all! Yes, I was REALLY concerned about her the other night - I think she was just extremely stressed by being "cooped up" all day with all the other critters at the Vet. She FINALLY ate for me today. I was getting worried because I don't think she ate anything yesterday (unless she got "full" from Uncle Kerm's puppy cookies )

I'm taste-testing my new mixes. Ooh-la-la!!!!!! I have some awesome new flavors to add to my rotation!!!!

I swiped these all from the lediypournuls site

* Strawberry Peach Dreamy Cream
* Sticky Lemon Doughnut
* Wild - a creamy Strawberry/Blueberry mix
* Bonfire - Pomegranate, Blueberry, Strawberry, Watermelon mix - initial tasting is AMAZING
* Duchess - Pear/Mango/Raspberry/Mango/Coconut - the Pear is pretty heavy at the moment, but should mellow
* Creamy Cinnamon Crunch - NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM

I haven't tried yet:
* Hendershot - DDL/Bav Cream/RY4D/Caramel/Vanilla Whipped Cream
* Honey Do - Cantaloupe/Honeydew - I'm excited for this, as one of my first flavors from my old B&M was a Honeydew that was to die for, and I've not found anything that replicates
* Presidio - RY4D/Western/Carmel/VBIC - I'm not a "tobacco" person, so I only made 10mL to see how it goes. I don't think of RY4D as much as a tobacco as a caramel/vanilla with a little "something else" in the background, so I'm pretty good with that in my mixes.

I'm going to give the two RY4's a few days before I give them a try. I'm a bit "impatient" when it comes to steeping. I want it NAO! The Duchess needs time to tone down - I like Pear, but this kinda slaps you at first. The Lemon Donut says 20 days for steeping, but I'm afraid the Lemon will fade if I let it go too long

ETA - I usually do a big mixing session when I have about 20% of my previous mix session left. By the time I finish that stuff off, the new stuff has "steeped"

Oh, and the Bonfire - that should rock with some koolada or a drop of Menthol in the summer!

I am so jealous! I have a hard time with fruits. I have to stick with 1 or 2 low % flavors in the mix & even then I might make it thru 1 delicious tank before I get burnt out on it. There is one strawberry cream mix that I keep around & can occasionally vape a little while. I have an ry4 I can use a bit. Tobsccos are a no go other than that. Coffee, nutty, creams & custards are adv's for me. I like the days I can step out of that box.

I have found my atty for my P-Thingys!!! The Nautilus X is the bomb!! The airflow is perfect!! The only downfall is that it take coils. I may try to order 2-3 more.

@DingerCPA what kind and where would I get coils for this tank?

There's really only one kind of coil - the 1.8Ω, if I'm not mistaken. I've never used that coil in the tank - I just stripped for parts so I could build the RDTA from the Quad-Flex kit.

Sweet-Vapes is the least expensive, Stateside. If you order from FT, you can't use PayPal (directly) They can't sell authentic Aspire products via PayPal, so I'll buy something else, cancel the order and get a gift certificate. Then I'll place the order for the Aspire products and use the GC to pay.

ETA - I lied. There's some sort of "U" coil (0.6Ω), but that wouldn't work on the P-thingy. MyFreedomSmokes has both kinds of coils listed (for about a buck more than S-V) Oh, and MadVapes, but you have to pay sales tax from them, right?
