At least I'm in a position now that they pretty much can't afford to lay me off... I'm the last one standing that truly knows how all of this equipment works. That's better than nothing. It's good to have a sense of job security in this job market right now!

Had her back at the Vet yesterday - they flushed her inner ear again - they said that the skin is starting to re-attach to the cartilage, so THAT's awesome. However, she still has some infection IN her ear and she's on another round of medication (yippee). It was a rugged evening after getting her home. She actually poo'd in the parking lot on the way to the car Good thing I'd asked for a bag to carry all her meds.... Did some pooper-scooping in front of the pet store

Vet wants me to bring her back every couple days so they can continue to clean her ear (need 2-3 people to hold her down and flush the ear - I can't do that by mahse'f)

Get her home and take her out back. She "turtles" all around the back yard and "visits" a number of spots to try to feel better. Bring her in, and she's GUZZLING water. Asks to go back out and proceeds to puke in about 4 places in the yard. Didn't want to eat and didn't want to take any of her meds last night, either.

Managed to get a little bit of medication in her this a.m. Desperately praying I can get home before any kind of storms.....

Is there anywhere y'all can stay that does have power? I know a motel would be expensive with the kids, but man that's got to be miserable. So sorry you're dealing with all this.

DW is starting to feel alive, the pooches are all back in the mudroom, more or less dry, load of grungy stuff soaking in the wash.

His Mom texted me this morning that he went to the closed door of the spare room & sat there & barked until she opened the door for him. He ran in & jumped on the bed, sniffed around, & looked at her. He was looking for me!

So funny! Thanks for the morning smile, I needed it. My hubby's aunt passed away last night. She turned 90 the end of December. We knew it was coming, there wasn't much left of her. Now we wonder how his mother, who is 2 older, will handle it. I fear more sad times are coming.

1 tsp is almost 5 ml so 1/4 tsp = approx 1 ml. I'd use the 1/4 tsp as 1 ml, and go from there.

Just got a call from the neighbor. We have power now (hopefully it will stay on!) Uncle Kerm could see the transformer and a fuse that had blown. Praying that it stays that way!

Just talked to Uncle Kerm. They replaced the TRANSFORMER! Now, maybe my lights will stop flickering.... I'm betting on it!

Our weather continues to be bipolar and totally insane up here. Yesterday was 60+ and raining. Today I woke up to 10 degrees, extreme wind, snow, and it looks like we'll be subzero for a few nights. Then right back up to 50s the start of the week. I'm hoping it snows enough for me to ski this weekend but who knows.

Yeah, I've been thinking about calling her for a week or so, but didn't want to bother her. As it was, I think I kept her on the phone a little longer than I should have.

Power came on about an hour ago and just popped back off. I at least got some charge back on my phone, got the house heated back up, grabbed a shower and warmed something to eat.

@Kaezziel.... 8 YEARS!!!!! Wooooooot! Praying for good news for DB and you.

Skully did check in a few days ago. Healing from foot surgery. Glad to know LB is OK. No word on Kodak

Yeah, she just had another treatment not too long ago. She's resting and trying to get her strength back up now. Then she fussed at me about my blood pressure... I really do need to see a doc about that. She sounded good though, so I think she's starting to feel a bit better.

You got something with an actual 510 - lucky! I believe my first one was a ds801, and it was definitely carts based (none of those new fangled cartos

). Fortunately I quickly found ECF, switched to a kr808d1 (better batteries than the original 510s)

Well, I intentionally bought several 510 batteries and attys from Totally Wicked back then. They worked much better than the Smoking Anywhere stuff, and was a LOT cheaper. Totally Wicked was my go-to for the first four years or so of my vaping journey! Never did try the 801s or 808s.

Yeah, that may happen still, but not any time soon. It's alright... at least they haven't put anyone else in charge of me instead. Looks like we'll find out about the scans on Tuesday... keeping fingers crossed, for sure!

60 is what I keep my house at all the time in winter...
Then again, when it's arctic outside, going from 70+ into the outdoors is too big of a shock. So people up here lean towards the low 60s.

I never did use the twists and spinners... I went to Egos, then a Screwdriver mod with an 18350, then to a VV Tesla with an 18650. Then tube mechs. I stayed there for a while and finally made the leap to VW/TC mods. Now I bounce between TC and mechs and hardly ever use VV or VW power modes. At least my builds on my mechs are higher resistance now. I satisfy my cloud chasing desires with regulated mods now... prolly safer than some of the builds I used to throw in...

Yeah, I have a kayfun... still haven't managed to get a build in it that I actually like. Just put a new build in the Stumpy on my mech squonker. May need to rebuild it. It's ringing in at about 0.53Ω, and it's just a little too cool of a vape for my liking. I either need to use a heavier wire or lose a wrap...
