I hope everyone who is in the path of this storm is safe. I hope you dont have to drive today.
I followed their recommended ranges, went 2.5% on the apple pie and 1% cream. The apple pie is clean, a nice flavor. I'll put it aside, check again in a week to see if the cream starts coming through.
Baklava and bread pudding I'll probably make some single flavor tests, to get a feel for. They've both had good reviews. (OTOH I might add a pinch of nature's flavors vanilla to them, that flavoring is simply really nice.)
Local travel advisory already extended to 5pm tomorrow, looking at anywhere from 10 - 20" more snow [emoji5]
Tomorrow's project, after initially clearing the driveway (due to snow all day) will be breaking out the roof rake to do some roof clearing. This snow is about perfect for ice dams to form (if I'm lucky the wind will blow a lot off over night).
At 6 yesterday evening the cars and driveway were fully cleared of snow ( though more was coming down). Here's the view this morning:

Hum, being relatively new here I have hesitated to intrude on your coffee list. Beware, you will be receiving a PMDoing some midweek Rozting (decided to hold off on the roof raking until tomorrow - windy and still snowing).
A rare behind the scenes look at where da magic happens:

Bear (front) and Maggie are my Aussie assistants.
To the left of the roaster is a small box fan, which pulls a lot of the smoke/scent outside. There's also a pretty good ceiling exhaust fan.
Behind Maggie is the cooling fan on the little frame that holds a colander. Beans go from the roaster into the colander, cooled to room temp in under 4 minutes.
The mason jars in the window sill hold roasted beans.
I like your rozting asssitants!!Doing some midweek Rozting (decided to hold off on the roof raking until tomorrow - windy and still snowing).

It's not Monday is it?Experiencing a day full of "Things that make you go, Hmmmmmmm?"
First - A demo had been scheduled for one of my clients, but the group hosting the demo didn't invite my client
Next - A(nother) mind-numbing demo for something else this afternoon. So needed a drill to let the boredom out of my head!
Now - I emailed a client to ask if she still had time for me to work with her and included a link to our remote connection software. Told her to call me. She responded via email "Yes" over 30 minutes ago, but has neither joined my remote session nor called me....
I give up.
Your assistants are beautiful!Doing some midweek Rozting (decided to hold off on the roof raking until tomorrow - windy and still snowing).
