Apr 11, 2016 — You already can't check vape gear while flying, no lithium batteries in checked baggage. That makes sense. Now they are trying to ban vape gear in carry on baggage. Not all lithium batteries, vape gear specifically. So you'd have to leave your gear at home, and I guess they want you to smoke when you get to your destination?

Well this is BS!!!!!

http://sfata.org/urgent-us-senate-may-consider-ban-e-cigs-carry-bags/

Next week the Senate is scheduled to debate the FAA reauthorization on the Senate Floor. Senator Blumenthal (D-CT) has proposed an amendment (SA 3547) that will expand the list of hazardous products to vapor devices and prohibit them from being carried on ALL flights.

Vapor products are already prohibited from being used on flights and from being included in checked baggage this additional prohibition will force consumers to leave their products at home when traveling once again making it more difficult for the millions of people who have chosen these products over combustible tobacco products.

I broke down and ordered the Cloupor Z5 tank for mine...My cloupie is still my favorite mod (I ordered the blue one too finally :D) However, that's part of what FT is holding hostage over in China right now. It does say that it was processed through a facility in China on April 7th though...so maybe the slow boat is finally moving :D
Oh no! I hope it gets moving soon! I wondered what that tank was like.

Missouri...or the state of Misery.
Thanks :) nice on getting the rba base! I prefer them over the coil heads too.

I'm slowly getting there. I'm trying to make sure I have RBA's for most of my tanks "just in case" ya know. On a good note, I finally built a coil that made it over 1 ohm this weekend--so I might get the hang of it eventually!!

I enjoy making my own coils, though it can be convenient to get pre-wrapped. FT has a pretty wide selection: FastTech - Gadgets and Electronics

You can select by resistance, wire gauge, single/twisted/clapton, etc. A 10 pack of UD Kanthal 1.2 ohm for $2, or 50 pack for $7.55, is pretty reasonable IMO.

A bath in high proof alcohol and rinse is good if there's any film on them, but that's no different from roll-your-own -- if the wire has any stuff on it, wipe it before use.

At 15 or 20 cents a coil, we really don't save much rolling our own, it's just part of the self-sufficiency aspect

Wow, I gotz to figger out how to work again

It's all good. Kitty had a very quiet night (first in a while, I think). She curled up with me when I first went to bed. Then went and lounged for a couple of hours wif da SO in the recliner.

Will prolly switch up food stuffs to a "Senior" diet concoction. I really expected much worse, but was pleasantly surprised that her overall health is as good as it is.....

Back to adulting that pays me.....

Haz a great day!

Glad to hear kitty is OK.
Sorry about the adulting thing......... adulting sux. ;)

Hey everyone! It's lunchtime and I'm having an awesome day! It would be FANTASTIC if this migraine would go away!

Hope your headache is over by now. :)

Mine either. Funny thing though.. I placed an order last week, maybe Thursday with 101vapes. Free shipping. It originated out of Carlsbad CA, went to San Diego just like the Vapor Beast order and it's in my mailbox as I type.

I made an order from 101 Saturday night, and was hoping it wouldn't get trapped in the Carlsbad Zone. It's out for delivery! :)

On the vaping gear proposed ban, I do have some 510 threaded laser pointer/pen lights from a couple years back. I bet if I turn power to minimum they will work fine on the mini+. "It's not a PV, it's a flashlight" :)

I have some of those coming too for the days I don't feel like messing with making my own ;)

Gives the term "....-BBs" a whole new meaning, huh?

It really does lol! I'd never really thought about it in those terms...but it's pretty accurate

I'm trying to learn making claptons, but I might have to order some.
