Sitting at Biscuitville for the 2nd Saturday in as many weeks waiting on my car to be fixed. Why? Because there are people out there that take my gray hair and the fact that I'm a female as a sign that I'm stupid. Please don't go there! I'm a bit smarter than I look! :)

WOOT! Lynn and Loony! HAI :) Good to see y'all!

Mark, I'm sippin on the 2nd flavah you sent - even drinking it black (which almost NEVER happens wif mah kawfee) Wery noice! I have the little K-Pod liners for my reusable pod, so I don't have to scrape grinds out each time I want to use.... Call me LAZY!

I finally got smart the other night. I decided I was going to mix up some base of a few favorites, but not blend with PG/VG/Nic until I'm ready for a bottle. Don't know why I didn't do this earlier. Now I have to replot my whole mixing philosophy (and probably get more bottles :lol: )

Got mah 3rd Boozin Barrel this week. It's soaking now - gots to grab more PGA. I think I can bottle the Markie's Mark this weekend. Beam Me Up Scotchy may stay in its barrel for another week or two. It's still bitey, but it is developing a nice taste.

Hair cut, lawn mower blades, grocery, and yard work on the agenda today..... Temps in the 70s - HAPPY SPRING!!!!!

    @kad2371 My vapor beast order is out for delivery today. Finally! I can't wait to see the packaging. A good friend of mine that works for the local PO explained some packaging info to explain why this free ship package took so long.
    Yay! Mine is still in limbo unfortunately.:( But I'll celebrate for you.:banana:

    @DingerCPA By base I thought you meant pg/vg/nic. That's the way I was doing but was told that was the wrong way to do it. So I stopped and measuring all the ingredients takes FOREVER! I'm going to mix up 2 240ml bottles of base this weekend so all I'll need to do when I want to mix is add flavors and fill the bottle the rest of the way with my "base" :)

    I believe there WILL be some of that this weekend!
    Hayell yeah, Ding! Havin' friends over for dinner tonight which means I don't have to be the D.D. (for once). I don't often partake in boozin', unless we're parked poolside in Palm Springs and know we're not goin' anywhere 'ceptin' to surgically remove our butts from da pool chairs to fetch another cocktail. Weeeeee!
    Enjoy yer well-deserved weekend!

    Mornin' y'all!

    Looks like it might be a decent weekend; supposed to clear up a warm up a bit.
    Settin' on the patio this a.m. with coffee in hand. Just me 'n the singin' boids, the squirrels and the hummin' bees which have taken up residence in the bird house (again).
    The condo construction a hunnerd yards away hasn't cranked up yet so I'm enjoyin' the peace 'n quiet while it lasts. Dang progress. Pfffft!
    Have a wunnerful weekend, y'all!

    Unless your flavors are always the same percentage, how do you know what amounts to use for the base? Jus wonderin'

    I really should get to mowing the yard, before it starts raining..... I duwanna! :nah:

    This is what I did last night. Not a final solution, but it's a start, and much better than the mess I had.

    Morning all...got busy this week and wasn't able to make it back here...spent yesterday trying to catch up on reading here and with doing other things at the same time, by the time I got done catching up last night, was too tired to post....Plan for the day...do absolutely nothing and then enjoy a nice big daiquiri tonight...yeah that works for me! :D

    Yah, I'ma pick up stix and cut grass :p Too bee-ewe-tee-full out to stay inside todIf I ay!

    Re: mixin' - Here's what's in my head.... I'm actually "max VG", so all I ever do is mix flavors, then drop VG nic and then top with VG.

    So, I have a recipe that's
    * Flavor 1 - 10%
    * Flavor 2 - 5%
    * Flavor 3 - 5%
    * Flavor 4 - 3%
    * Flavor 5 - 2%

    All this equals 25% of my total mix.

    If I was going to make a 100mL bottle, I'd mix up

    * Flavor 1 - 10ml
    * Flavor 2 - 5ml
    * Flavor 3 - 5ml
    * Flavor 4 - 3ml
    * Flavor 5 - 2ml

    Put that aside.

    Now, when I want to make this batch, I simply figure out what bottle size (I typically do 15ml or 30ml) Picking 30ml, then I need 7.5ml of my flavor base. I'll measure that out, then drop my nic and top with VG.

    I'm less concerned about precise PG/VG ratios (and even "specific" nic level - as long as I'm "close", I'm fine.) I use 60mg/ml nic, and usually do 9-12mg mixes.

    Even with my flavorings, I'm using 1ml pipettes, graduated to 0.25ml. Something calls for 6%, I am often rounding. 6% of 30mL should be 1.8mL - I'll round to 1.75 - I don't think I'm sophisticated enough to tell the difference. In my case, "close enough for gubermint werk" is close enough for me. :)
