@Kodak, thank you for the explanation. I thought that was it, but wanted confirmation. Artemis is also an assassin in the "Icewind Dale trilogy" by R.A. Salvatore. Wonderful reading.

I actually have most of Salvatore's books loaded in my tablet to read...just haven't made it that far in the alphabet yet lol.

Pretty much any book with Drizzt in it is going to be completely worth a read... you'll LOVE his cat! ;)

Well way to spoil it lol! I've got about 4 more books to read in this series before I can get to em. For some reason I'm on a serious paranormal/sci fi type of kick right now.

That series sounds really familiar for some reason. Same writer or different?

Different... actually there were a bunch of writers in the Dragonlance series books. Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman were two of the most prolific writers of the series.

Margaret Weis is also in my folders somewhere lol...

Tamora Pierce is another one that I love to re-read.

I had to google-fu Tamora Pierce... a few of those look familiar.

Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman are almost always found on the same book covers. It seems that they co-wrote and/or co-edited much of the series. If you've got a folder with Margaret Weis, then you've got a bunch of awesome books in your tablet. My absolute favorite was the Twins series with Raistlyn and Caramon...

Then, whenever you finish all of those, you can move on to the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind and the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan....
Yes, Sword of Truth books were fantastic. Which reminds me, I need to get them for Kindle. The Legend of the Seeker TV adaptation left me disappointed though.

Agreed. I do respect that they made a decent attempt to try and stay true to the book; I also appreciate that it was done as a series instead of a movie. I just wish that they had done a better job with it. :(

Apparently there are some things in the works to do a Wheel of Time television series... if it's done nearly as well as Game of Thrones appears to have done (haven't seen it; don't get HBO), then I'll be very excited to see that series!
