Lynn - 1 absolutely happens to me if my wick is bad/off, and can also happen if I am off on my pg/vg ratios. Too much vg doesn't agree with me.

Either 1 or 3 can also come from off flavorings. Doing any new blends lately? Maybe mix something that you've used previously, and still have some of those original flavorings around? Some people are sensitive different flavorings, and sometimes a new bottle of a flavoring ( or nic, or...) can simply be bad. Back in my tobacco blending days I once got an 8 ounce bottle of flavoring that was bad. I

Mark, this is a premade liquid so I'm betting they used an artificial sweetener in it. And I think you're right on the bad wick too. I emptied the liquid, rinsed the tank, refilled it, changed the coil and it's working great. No more coughing or bad taste. Guess I'm going to be re wicking this weekend.

Hai Lynn - sorry, just getting 'round to catching up. I'm guessing the coil - you didn't mention resistance. If too low, you can prolly get some spitback. Coughing your head off - because you're getting juice in your mouth? Premade juice - good guess on the artificial sweetener.

RBA in the STM? I'd try rewicking and/or rebuilding.....

Yep, yep, and yep! Resistance was .53. Since changing the coil, I haven't coughed once. And I'm giving my son the rest of that liquid because I can't deal with the artificial sweetener aftertaste.

@LynnNC the other thing it could be is your orings need to be replaced. It might help in the future. I had those exact problems. Recoiled, re-wicked, and re-oringed and it worked great again.
