I've tried the twinkie one--it's pretty good, but I think I used CAP vanilla cupcake and dropped the sweetener way down.

Yeah,i've made that one a few times,and i agree i had to cut the sweetener way down too,the first time i made it at the posted % and it was so sweet it almost made my teeth hurt haha.

Meh,you may not be missing much haha.People were raving about how good that flavor is,and i seen a few recipes using it,so i picked it up a while back.Maybe it's just my taste buds,but it did not live up to the hype for me.The first i tried was a funnel cake recipe that used it,and then tried a few others,and all i have ever gotten from it is cinnamon,nothing else,no churro to be found,i was disappointed haha.

.5% should be fine,at that low number,it should add a nice bit of extra nuttiness to it.I would say up to around 2-2.5% or so gives a nice nutty taste,when you get up above that,it starts to take on a fritos type taste.

Cool, so just keep it under 2.5%... Thanks, man! I was worried, because I've seen a lot of people saying to use it at like 2-3 drops per mL or something like that... I don't mix by drops, so I was trying to figure out a solid percentage number to use.

Yeah,i use it all the time at 2% in the tribeca clone that has been my adv for several months.I've seen a bunch mention the drops too,and it drives me nuts haha,especially when people post recipes by drops,because several things can change the drop size,etc. so i stay far away from that method haha.

I would start low with it though,as it can overpower other flavors pretty quick,so i would start at your .5% and go from there,then add small amounts if needed.

Yeah, me too... I measure everything by volume. Not by weight, and definitely not by drops... I'm so easily distracted, measuring by drops would NEVER be the same flavor twice in a row! I'd lose count before I was done with the first flavor...

Exactly! I never bothered with mixing by weight, though. I already have a scale (for cooking and baking), but I never even considered using it to mix juice. I did try drops at the beginning, because I didn't have any syringes at the time... same thing as with you. Lost count, got distracted, squeezed too hard and it came out as a stream. Now I mix by volume, usually into mason jars... Keeps things super simple for me.

I like the notch coils for TC, at least in the Merlin. Don't think I'd mess with 'em in anything alse, but that's partly because I don't really want to have to buy a whole stash. When I burn through the few I have, that's it. I'll wrap my own SS316 coils after that.
