So a bit a good news so far. Medical is actually cooperating now. Only took ME to get them all on the right page. By Tuesday I hopefully will be able to retire where I am without moving. I am actually very happy. Now I just need my feet to heal.
And ^ this is awesome news as well!! Hopefully once the retirement is in place you'll have time for the feet to heal. :)

So they're gonna let you retire early? With full benefits, right?!!? If so, that is definitely AWESOME news!!

The retirement process meaning, I do not have to move to another command to retire. I was slated for orders to PCS or move to another command. Now, I get to stay in the place I currently am now. I will retire officially in NOV 2018. I cannot wait, because I want to settle down and try to start a family. I just have to get through the next two years.

Continuing with this assignment will mean more responsibility as I will be taking over the entire Network Operations. This will only build more for my resume for the civilian or government sector.

Well, that's pretty awesome, too. Moving sucks... even when they do it for you. It'll be nice to settle down without having to worry about starting over at a new command and learning how to deal with new people.

It is, just a lot of work and confusion to get to this point. I am starting to feel a little relief. It looks like November maybe my other surgery.

I talked to my supervisors last night about the time off to go with my daughter to have her endoscopy done. I can have the time if I find someone to work in my place. I have someone on 1st shift that's willing to work over to cover the 1st part of my shift but can't find anyone on 3rd that's willing to come in early to cover the 2nd half. No biggie though because she's going to ask Noah's dad to take him so she'll be able to sleep. So it's all working out. :)

Keeping you in our prayers my dear that everything works itself out. It is getting there though.

So then maybe you'll be able to get back in time to finish out the second half of your shift while she sleeps? Either way, praying that it all works out and that they find whatever it is that they're looking for so that she can feel better soon!

Do you go Cisco network certification kinds of stuff for training?

Good news, being able to stay on and add responsibility :)

Yep! We'll be back in plenty of time for me to show up at work at 7. The staying with her was more for the reactions to the drugs she'll be given for the test. I told her when I had mine done(colonoscopy and endoscopy together) her dad left me here with her and her brother.

Well so much for my PS4 now. Going to go get an Xbox one or Xbox S now. Sony just does not get what it takes to take gamers happy. The Mod support that was supposed to happen for Fallout and Skyrim fans is now completely being blocked by Sony. Not happy about this decision.

This is why I'm a PC gamer. Well, and the fact that my PC has always had better graphics than any of the consoles no matter what you console fans think.:D

That's awesome! And yeah, I know what you mean... I drove myself home after my last endoscopy... I don't trust anyone else's driving!

Still keeping my PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, along with all my Nintendos, and my Atari... the XBox 360 gets no love...

We have every gaming system from the Atari 2700 up except for the Sega Dreamcast and the Nintendo 64. My kid is currently saving to get her an Xbox One.

I still need a Dreamcast and an Atari Jaguar. I may or may not get the Xbox One or whatever the new one is... I have a hard time forcing myself to give more money to Microsoft...
