Love you, Brother..... Praying you and your Bride peace....

We got your six....

Thank you, Sweetheart. You know I love you, too... we'll get through it, I was just in a weird place yesterday after talking with her bestie. It helped to get it off my chest, and it helped even more to read the kind and loving posts from all of you again this morning. In spite of how it may feel sometimes, I know that I am not alone in this. Y'all are amazing, and I love you all. :)

I cannot imagine what you are going through (I went through a similar thing with my Daddy and my husband's Dad...but not the love of my life....), but I wish your wife and you the best of wishes and I will keep her in my prayers. I am sorry that this has happened to her, and I wish there was more that I could say to make you feel better. I honestly cannot imagine what is going through her mind. My heart aches for you both, and you guys are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs.

Oh my... you've gone through this twice? Hunny, I am so sorry... I can't even imagine. I think that it doesn't matter whether it is a spouse, a parent, or a 3rd cousin twice removed... watching someone you love go through this is hard and you have my deepest sympathy for having witnessed it twice. Thank you for the lovely words and prayers, they are much appreciated! {{{{{Hugs Back Atcha}}}}}

I'd say it is a REALLY bad idea to vape oils, but trees, grasses and molds are pretty high up there too :shrug:

I'll be alright, just wanted to get it out there... I'll be back 'round tomorrow with my usual cheer if at all possible, then back out for da next coupla days. I'll give y'all an update on what the doc says and what decisions are made after that. LOVE Y'ALL!!

Hello Bruddah, how you holding up today?

I'm doin' pretty good, Bruddah... I'm in a better place thanks to all of my wonderful friends here! The coming days don't feel so scary, and I am again ready to face each day as if it were my last... so hit it hard and go out with a bang, 'cause dat's just how I roll... ;)

Since I took today off, Maggie's first day after getting fixed, I'll get to roast the Fiesta Honey processed beans. The samples will go out Friday (Nic San Jose is already set, I'll grind just before sending).

The Fiesta Natural 4lb should be in tomorrow.

Bodhi has another awesome sounding bean on sale, Costa Rica La Patricia. I foresee some of that next week :)

Ethyl Maltos: Just a sweetner. I like it better than the other sweetners. Not a necessity though.

    I went through similar, but it was not like your situation of deciding to stop treatment. My Daddy was diagnosed, but he had a doctor who has a bad reputation of wanting to cut on people :( My Dad caught on when the doctor and his nurse were calling harassing and begging to take out his bowels (even after he told my Dad that it still would not get rid of the "uncurable cancer"), but my Dad told them that if he was truly dieing (the doctor told my Dad he would not live to see Spring...a couple years ago...)than he was living the remainder of his life with his bowels and had to tell them to leave him alone. It was terrible. The doctor fixed 3 hernias (told my Dad about 2, but when my parents finally got the records they found out there were 3), removed a few polypoids, and removed a huge tumor that at first came back non cancerous....but then told my Dad he had uncurable cancer. The hospital and records could not find the paper or proof that the tumor was cancerous or that my Dad had cancer...it was very strange. During that time when I thought my Daddy was dieing my heart was broken. I am thankful everyday that he is ok and still with me :)
    My Father in law was diagnosed with lymphoma a few months after my Dad, and as of last year he is in recession and doing great :) He went through alot of treatments over that year.

    Wow... sounds like y'all got put through the wringer with that doctor. :( So very glad that everything worked out for the best in the end and that your Daddy is still doing well!! :D And your FiL is in remission! YAAAYYYYYY!!! That is very good and happy news! I love hearing success stories! Whenever we talk to people at the cancer center that tell us they are in remission, we always get up and do a l'il "Happy Remission Dance"... LOL!
