Maybe I haven't paid close enough attention, but I haven't noticed a lot of resistance jump with SS 316L, when using it in power mode. I lub it.
30g is too dang flimsy for me, I have to do twisted to work with it. Like Brother Kaz, I like 26g.

30 gauge is the only gauge I could use to get ohms and wraps in my preferred range. I like my ohms in the 1.0-1.2 range. It's only occasionally that I like sub ohms.

Sorry for the double post...ECF has been screwy for me for days!! A sign perhaps? :?:

It's been doing a few weird things to me for the last coupla days, too... Half the time when I hit "Post Reply" it doesn't do anything, so I have to hit it again... I'm always worried that it's gonna double post on me, too.

When I've tried to "like" a post a second window opens and asks if I really want to like the post. Weird!! Maybe a sabbatical from ECF is in order! :)

That one happens when you hit "like" before the page is completely finished loading. It kept doing it to me, too. Now, I wait for the page to finish loading, and it doesn't do it any more. :)

I`ve got a good selection of 316L now, but keep going back to my twisted kanthal -- 28/27/26 AWG (got some 24 too :) )

The change in 316L resistance isn't for me on a mech. When you hit it a long time or several times in a row, the vape gets progressively cooler (due to increased R)

I'm getting loads of use out of vape Tool Pro. I always check the sweet spot finder graphic at the bottom, since ohms isn't everything when it comes to how warm or cool something will vape.

Day 3 on the Avocado 24 -- definitely a keeper :) I have to top it off fairly frequently (I vape a lot), but for good flavor it's worth it :)

I like mine in the 1.0 to 1.5 range :D The cCells are the only dip I'll make towards "subohm"....

30awg twisted kanthal - 6 wraps on 2.5mm ID is about 0.95 ohms.

Mini Fogger build - small (that's a 2mm ID coil), but not bad to work on:

Did you manage to get a build in the Stumpy while you were out abandoning us? ;)

Nope, didn't have time to do that yet....but did have time to convince my brother to give vaping a try :D

Nice! I'm assuming that by saying you convinced him to give it a try, that he didn't take to it very well? :(

Got the microstick in. It turns out this is a version that will accept a full 22mm tank, the two 16mm I ordered aren't needed.

It needs a nipple top 18500, mine are flat top. Just ordered some adapters :)

Here's the cloupor mini+ with avocado 24 (a fairly short tank) next to the microstick with a tfv4 mini:

It's a very compact package, though with an 18500 the battery capacity isn't huge. Net, I like it, need the battery adapters to see if DW wants it or if it's too heavy (she likes light weight).

The avocado 24 looks nice. I like how short it is. I really like it. The cloupor mini plus has been an amazing mod. I have to say that it is my favorite win ever, and it is my favorite mod that i have too. The microstick is very cool looking. It took me a minute to figure out that the tfv4 mini fits inside of it. I have heard good stuff about the tfv4 mini. Nice matching :)

I can imagine using naughty language, aimed at the designer. I can imagine tossing it in the dustbin. I can't imagine trying to tweeze it. o_O I wouldn't mind watching someone fight that thing. ;)
Naughty language would definitely be involved! It would be quite entertaining to watch someone fight with it ;)

Nope, not me... not gonna happen. I'd just have to write that one off as a failure and a bad purchase and move on. [emoji38] I have a fairly low tolerance for dealing with stuff like that. ;)

Not too bad, Sweetie... basically just bloodwork to check liver function. All is still good there, so she's going to continue with the treatment. I'm just happy that I made it out of there wifout punching somebody... had to argue with them over her pain med prescriptions. Finally ended up getting what she needed, but it took pretty much all of my patience to do it. The last three times we've gotten her pain med prescriptions, it's meant that I had to drive all the way across Houston to get it filled. I told them yesterday that I'm sick and G.D. Tired of them making things way more difficult than they need to be. Do it my way and things will go smoothly... do it another way, and pay me back for my gas and time. :p
I will admit, I would have tried! I actually would have made it work out...

Maybe I should try it... and video record it. ;) Not sure if it would be 'suitable' for posting to youtube, though. Forget "naughty" language... I'm pretty sure I would completely resort back to "cursing like a sailor"!

I actually left my Endura T18 with him and some fluid. The hardest chore we are going to have is finding a pretty tight drawing tank for him. He's gonna give the Endura a try for awhile and I told him if it works for him that I'll buy him a teal one.

Kodak, try the tfv4 mini with the airflow mostly closed - it's pretty tight.

I suspect the kanger stm might be similar. If you have one, try it. I've got my original stm in the PIF stash, with a bunch of 1.5ohm OCC heads (plus some lower ohm 0.5, and a handful 0.15 ni200).
