Maybe.. I think that Monday will be a go but Sunday is up in the air depending on scheduling. Right now, we're scheduled for Saturday and whether we finish it on time will depend on the other 2 shifts.
I may be looking for another job though. The talk in the plant is putting our cell on 12 hour shifts. 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 4 days off which would eliminate the 7 day weeks. Great plan but since I'm on the low end of the totem pole, I'd be regulated to the overnight 12 hour shift. As I told my temp admin yesterday that had I wanted to work overnights I would've asked for that in the beginning.

Hey y'all... been dealin' wif drama all day. We had another round of layoffs. I got to keep my coworker that I was worried about. They actually got the idjit instead, so it appears that at least, on some level, someone is listening when I tell 'em stuff. Then, there's doctor drama... my wife is getting scans and bloodwork today, and for a brief period, they were talking about admitting her to the ER for high potassium. They re-ran the bloodwork and it is normal now, so that's been cleared up... for now. We have to go back tomorrow to get the results of today's CT/MRI scans...

By the way, Lessons Learned...just because you've been doing fairly good for 2 1/2 weeks, doesn't mean you should leave your security blanket (MTL rda w/WTA) at home. Now how to convince my Customer Service guy that the next time I ask if I can bum a smoke and borrow his lighter he's supposed to tell me no...
