No - he normally doesn't check back in until the next day. I don't think he plays here in the evenings.....
I scooped up a few oddball wire sets on the GB 99 cent sales - when they came in I looked at them then ran back to my spools of twisted kanthal
I know what to do with them. Also can I put in a previous order of coffee for Thanksgiving?

I'm just doing my first cold brew of the lot 22 tonight. Drip was good, but I'm really looking to see what the cold brew is like . If it's what I expect I'll be Rozting more this weekend.

I know, Sweetheart. He knows how much he (and his Bride) is loved by this Krewe. And so many others across the boards. This isn't fair. It sucks big pink garbage cans (there is a story to that, but I won't go into it here)
Can't even begin to imagine the range of emotions through which they are going. Let's just keep hoping and praying for some relief from this crud-storm for them.....

You're contemplating rozting; I'm going to rotate the boozin' barrels! I have a couple of batches that may be ready to tap this weekend (at least one for sure, but I can't remember if it's the "Makers Mark" or the Rye.... Perhaps I should "taste test", eh?

Just did 1/2 shot of the "Maker's Mark" - there's still a tetch of burn to it, but truth be told, I don't remember what the real stuff tastes like and how much "burn" there is straight up

The "Wild Game" Bourbon still needs some time. It's the newest one (maybe only 2-3 weeks old) The other two are at least 5 weeks old (I *NEED* to date when I put them in, but I never think about it when I'm making it....

Dreary day here. But not overly hot. I just want to nap....
Got home from work last evening, and the neighbor and SO were in the front yard. She'd started pruning spruce and evergreen trees that were a little "unruly". Neighbor Dood has his trailer in the yard to haul away the brush (way cool - the trailer was almost full when I got home
) Ran in, changed clothes, helped finish up that "little" chore. Was able to get both ginormous blue spruce trees trimmed out. Maybe it will stimulate some GOOD growth - they were all kinda peeked.
One of the spruces is on Neighbor Dood's property line with me. I joked - "You've been waiting for 12 years for me to trim this damn thing, haven't you?" (We bought our houses within a month of each other - me in September, and him/wife in October '04) He just smiled at me.
There had been a number of threats over the years that he was going to "trim" that particular tree. NOW, it's done, and neither of us has to fight our lawnmowers getting tangled up....
