The Yiloong predator mech got the same rework as the Squeezer, a modmaker 510 connector and hard copper 22 gauge contacts.

I need to tighten the connector slightly more, to seat it into the outside oring, but it's working beautifully.

Since we've had fairly warmer weather the last few days,i've finally been able to stay out in the garage for a while without freezing haha,so i finally got to start playing around with making some new stuff on the lathe. Here are my first ventures into stuff other than pens.
The bowl and cup on the left are both wood from a tree that fell in my back yard, not sure what kind of wood it is,but it has great color, and laying on the ground for a long time gave it some nice dark spalting,i have enough of this wood to make probably 50 more haha. The other 2 are black walnut and cherry.

Thanks.Yeah the black walnut is by far my favorite.I found a free load of Cherry from a cut down tree the other day,now i'm watching Craigslist.Fb marketplace, and Offer up all for anyone to post some walnut haha.My wife wants a bigger walnut bowl to use as a center piece on the table, and to buy a piece the size it needs to be,is around $50.I hate to pay that much, but i probably will end up getting it unless i get lucky and find some posted local soon.

I have a set of Sennheiser FM Reciever wireless for my tv. The sound is great. They have the foam earpads. Love 'em! My tv is mounted on the wall shared with the neighboring apartment occupied by the complex manager, so I use them later at night or when watching something really noisy.

We use Sennheiser for our TVs, too. I'm thinking they'll be the ones I get. Right now I can get them for just a bit more than the Damson set, using a discount code at Sennheiser's own site.

I think that may be quite a while,i still have a lot of learning to do haha. That and need to get all the wood i have to a drier condition.I made another from oak yesterday, and the wood is still a bit too wet,so ended up with several cracks, which for me,i like the look of the cracks,so i fill them with epoxy then seal the bowl with wax,but i haven't done it long enough yet to know if it will hold or crack more later on.It's still a big experiment haha.

A new hobby like that, if you are motivated, can become a steep learning curve. wishing you the best of luck with a minimum of frustration.

Nice work! You might want to google yarn bowls, if you want to make some money with those lovely bowls.
I had never heard of those either. And.......welcome to the thread!!

I am totally hooked on your coffees at this point!

Hey y'all!

Kinda slow in this neck of the woods. Mixed about 1L of different juices Friday. Slept half my Saturday away, but considering I was waking up late all week last week, I probably needed it! Sunday - church and a light brunch afterwards. Back to the grind at work today. Twelve more days, and SO will come home. This has been a long winter (especially since the weather is so goofy....)

Got a Pulse BF 80W on order from Fasttech. There's a "special" code "MAP" that dropped the price by over $30. I couldn't resist.....

Sorry I'm not around as much. Just not too much to ramble about :)

I ended up deciding to try a kinda-sorta pod, the Joyetech Exceed Edge, squeaked in just under the wire on the HG sale. It's got a more robust battery than most pods, is definitely a bit larger, but still more pocket-friendly than my squonk setups. There's a reasonable likelihood of getting it in by the time we go to FL, a good opportunity to try it out (I'll absolutely still have a squonker, too :) )

Pertaining to the "DIY" of this thread's title, below is something I received from MOV today, about a survey on people's use of non-tobacco flavored eliquids. The survey took me about 15 minutes to complete (mainly remembering the gear and flavors I quit smoking with - it's been awhile :) )

ATTENTION ALL VAPERS, THE INDUSTRY NEEDS YOUR HELP!
We need your help to SAVE flavors! The survey released yesterday by Research CoCoordinator Dr. Konstantinos Farsalinos, will help gather data for submission to the FDA.

We cannot express how CRITICAL this data will be to the FDA, so please help us spread the word and get this survey out! Follow the instructions to post and gather data from your customers:

1. IMPORTANT: YOU CANNOT use more than one IP address per submission!!! PLEASE SEE THE SEPARATE LINKS BELOW. (One survey per unique IP address means multiple people on the same WIFI cannot submit, you will have to use your phone's wireless carrier service so that each entry is unique).
We need your help to SAVE flavors! The survey released Research Co-Coordinator Dr.

Top of the Noonin' to y'all (well, at least those on EDT :D )

Was supposed to do some work for a client today, but they left some things in places they shouldn't have, and now I'm rescheduled for NEXT weekend :(

I did manage to clean and rewick about 8 tanks and RDAs last evening.

One bummer I've discovered with some jumbo unicorn bottles I'd recently bought - I can't get the nozzle out to refill!!!!! They're so tight in there :( I really like the bottles, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to scrap them unless I can figure out how to get the spout out.....

Oh well...

Now I need to go fold 2 weeks worth of laundry and replace litter in the cat boxes. Yay!
