kayfun 3.1 ehpro condensing juice in drip tip

Hi All

sorry in advance for not posting in technical area, since I am a new member I couldn't come up with 4 more areas to discuss before being enabled to create posts on the other threads.

Here is a question I haven’t seen anyone report yet.

Background: I’m vaping on a ‘kayfun 3.1 ehpro’ – love it.
I do fill it from the TOP as per well documented method by covering air hole, filling next to chimney, replace cap, not tighten all the way before flipping it upside down, then tighten all the way, right side up, wait for bubble to go up again and then release the air hole.

Problem: condensing juice in drip tip.
I am attempting to attach 2 pictures showing my problem clearer than I can explain, hope will show.

Seems like there is a fair amount of ‘condensation’ happening between the screwed in ‘drip tip’ and ‘top cap’, I suspect these two parts aren't 'perfectly flush' when screwed together all the way. this is a problem to me since the juice inevitably end up on my mouth, enough so that it starts to ‘burn’ a little on my tongue sometimes also throat. interesting enough after cleaning the two pieces, it takes me a good 8 to 10 vapes on 4W setting before it 'condenses up' again...

So since I haven’t found any other info on people experiencing similar issues with this RBA, I am thinking I must be missing some detailed step in my process going wrong for it to apparently only happening to me. My hope is that someone else may have had a similar experience and been able to figure out how to correct it from not happening again, and advise me on where I have gone astray.

thx

One is going to get condensation under and in the drip tip of all atomizers. The more vape they produce the higher the condensation. I don't use the stock drip tip on my Russian, if you are using the pin hole stock tip, think that style promotes the condensation factor. I've always used the adaptor with a long tip, while still get occasional condensation under the drip tip, nothing heavy.

Yup, as stated above, this happens on most devices with a removable drip tip. On units that don't have a removable tip, the condensate flows back to the coil area. One thing that might help to mitigate the issue is to continue to draw for a second or two after releasing your fire button . By doing this you draw as much vaporized liquid as possible from your device leaving less of it to condense.

Great, thanks all for setting my mind at ease with the fact that most Atties do this, and I found all remarks very handy, especially the idea from Ruet - will do that for a couple of days and report back.

last night what I did try as well is remove the drip tip altogether from the cap and vape on the 'cap gap' alone, can still see some condensation on the 'cap gap' - and - don't know if I am imagining it but haven't noticed any fluid get all the way into my mouth as usual.
so will combine this with the advise from ruet and see how it goes

:vapor:

thanks again
