Kayfun 3.1 extension

I just got my Kayfun 3.1 last week from vaperev last week and I'm in love with this thing (well, I fell in love with it after I got the hang of filling it without spilling juice all over the place).

Anyways, I was thinking about getting the extension chimney to get a bigger tank, but I'm a little unsure about how this works.

Cloud 9 is selling the extension and the large clear tank, which I wouldn't mind. However, Vaperev also sell the long chimney, but not the clear tank. I would prefer to order from vaperev, since their shipping was so fast.

My question is, do I need the large clear tank to use the extension?
Or will the extension fit with both the clear tank and extra metal section that comes with the Kayfun?

I guess no one has ever tried it. Maybe I'll buy the extension and see if it will work.
