i usually blow it out before bed and keep it upside down. read about a sticky fill valve causing flooding also

You probably have too much wick stuffed into it. If the wick is too high (read: level or above the airhole) then the wick will simply deposit juice onto the "deck" and down into the collector tank it goes. See the manual for more info on this.

I agree, also too much wick stuffed in there will raise the level of juice in the chimney just threw wicking action, the level might be high enough to start flooding. I never use the valve to fill my Kayfun and at most I'll get 3 or 4 drops of juice in my collector. The only time ill get leaking, is too much wick and or coil too high above air hole. If you think about it, the way the kayfun is designed, your wicks don't have to move juice very far, you don't need tons of wick in there. I use a mini coil with a 3/32 hole with a single rolled cotton wick. I have 0 issues with wicking.

I have found that ekowool doesn't work well in my Kayfun and Kayfun Lite. A local B&M wrapped up two coils with 2mm ekowool and neither lasted a day before I went back to my normal config. In my experience a double wrap of 3mm wick with a 3/4 wrap of 28g works best. I install the chimney and cut the wicks at the top of the main tube then use a small screwdriver to spread the wick in the two slots (not packing them).

Filling takes practice to hold it upside down and release the airhole where you get no fluid leaking down the chimney and doesn't flood. What works best is to just thread the cap and flip it while screwing it in completely and releasing the airhole once the fluid drops.

Just my 2cents.
