It better have a glass tank and a sensible way to re-fill / access the build. Else I fear the "clones" will inherit the Earth.

I've seen posted elsewhere that it will possibly have a top fill method like the Erlkonigin, and will also be able to access the build without draining like a Squape R. Also saw that it will have a larger build deck. But what I want to know, is will it retain a similar juice channel system as the KFL? Or will they completely redesign the juice delivery system to allow much more juice to flow to the wick, like an Erlk.

Honestly, from the features that we've heard about so far, its sounding like it will be another home run. If it has a redesigned juice channel system more like an Erl or SqR, then this will honestly be the perfect tank for me. And knowing Svoemesto, they'll produce a ton of them so that people can actually BUY them (unlike the SqR ;)). And it will be a reasonable price for the quality you get. Svoemesto has shared pictures of production and it sure looks like they're planning to produce a ton for launch day.

Oh, and it should be launching by the end of the year. So really not that long away. This information was posted on another forum, I'll try to find it again.

I imagine thats what they're aiming for. Make another big splash in the market. The tank atomizer is still not even close to being "solved" yet. They can still build on top of and improve the original foundation with bold refinements. Like the juice delivery system, was highly innovative when it came out. There's still tons of room for improvement in this area. This is always my biggest gripe with tank systems, is their ability to saturate the coil. Something that doesn't require craft and finesse in order to work effectively, but much easier and hassle free and highly effective would be a big win. Kayfuns are close to this, but they don't flow enough juice for me. I'd love to be able to use any juice I want and get the same taste and coil saturation as I do when dripping. Its possible, the Erl is closest I've seen yet, but its so finicky to get working without issues.

Whatever Svoemesto does, you can bet its not just going to be like an Orchid or Lemo. I bet they're thinking a little bigger than that. I doubt they'd be calling this the "next gen" Kayfun if it was just a simple variant.

This is the only picture I think Svoemesto has teased for it. Well other than the logo pic on their Instagram. But this pic gives us at least a sort of look at the chimney and juice channels, which look intriguing.

If a new KF is released it needs to be innovative enough to compete with the various RTAs that are on the market. New things are coming out every month I wouldn't be surprised to see a new KF, but it needs to be different and try to stand in its own category.

Personally I would like to see an option to get to the coil and wick without having to drain the tank, not that it presents an issue with my current kayfun, but it's a feature that some would enjoy. Maybe a different deck design, I see verticals coils becoming very popular.

And those various RTAs are for the most part iterating on the innovative ideas from the KFL/3.1. Namely, machined juice channels and elevated bottom deck. Thats pretty much become the standard due to the KF. So considering they revolutionized the category a year ago, I'm pretty sure they could do it again.

But I just think its funny. The design was SO successful, that it spawned so many variations (and improvements) in other tanks, that the new KF has to once again be completely different and innovative to compete. The Lemo didn't do anything dramatically different, would you say the same about that? Seems to be pretty successful to me. So even if the KF4 only evolved the current design, I'd still see it being successful. But I'm sure it will be a lot more than that. Pbusardo got to use it a few months ago and called it "pretty slick."

I like that in the Squape reloaded design, although getting liquid into the tank is a PITA

Forgive me, but the first design was the Tayfun, followed by the Fogger, then the KF came out... So the KF is a copy of those two.

If you just want a glass tank get one from Fasttech (I have two, a regular and a nano) or a Lemo for that... You can't beat it for 39 bucks... Better protect the glass, it's bad quality. Really, another KF to me is useless...

Sensible... The Taifun had a "Sensible" refilling method, and it only got in a little amount of liquid. The best is the Squape reloaded, but I'm not so sure I want my whole head to come out and be in the open while I refill...

I love the Lemo refilling method. Unscrew the 510 connection, you either have a screw or a piece of silicone with a plug. Unplug it, fill and screw back the 510.

No, the Taifun did not have the machined juice channels like the Kayfun. Notice where I said that? That's been the most influential part of the Kayfun design. The Fogger was just a crappy clone of the Taifun, so again did not have the juice channels. The recent Foggers have now switched to basically a dual coil Kayfun design with a little of Taifun mixed in as well.

I didn't say the Kayfun was the first RTA. Neither was the Taifun. I said the Kayfun design completely changed the category. Which it did.
