Just received another Tobeco clone a few days ago in the mail.
Cleaned it in the ultrasonic cleaner for 40 minutes with the heater on and a few drops of Dawn dishwashing liquid to degrease it and remove any minute machine oil traces and odor. Then rinsed thoroughly under the hottest tap water I could get.
BTW, this was completely disassembled so all parts could get clean.
Let dry thoroughly, wrapped a 3.0mm ID 26ga. Kanthal coil @ 1.00 ohms (about 7 wraps with my my new Duro-coiler).
Checked it on my ohm meter, spot on 1.0 ohm resistance.
Did a test fire on my mod to check the coil, fiddled with it a bit with my ceramic-tipped tweezer and got the coil compressed a little better and firing from the center to the outer ends. Installed a Japanese organic cotton wick with the ends flared into the bottom of the juice wells.
Fires straight on at 1.0 ohm on my VW mod at 17.5 watts, no issues with resistance hopping or fluctuations like I had with my Infinite clone and the other clone which I wasn't sure about the manufacturer.
I am sticking with Tobeco clones exclusively now! NO PROBLEMS whatsoever! Rock solid, easy to coil with 26ga. Kanthal - no issues with the coil screws not gripping the wire properly like the other two clones. Resistance stays constant and steady.
I unconditionally recommend that if anyone is considering the Kayfun V4 atomizer, then stick with Tobeco! You won't be sorry.
The only con I see is that with Tobeco you don't get any extra O-rings, coil screws or other parts, just the inner spring and that's all.
I did order from FastTech a couple of spare parts kits just to be on the safe side and the price was reasonable, about $1.76 per kit.
Since I was ordering a wooden atomizer stand and ejuice shelf at the same time I though I would just add the spare parts kits too.
Tobeco ROCKS

Kayfun V4 clone market! They just work each and every time!
