If I could afford an authentic I would. There's a reason I'm not just getting both Tobeco's and Infinites to find out which one is better. If I could I would, or I'd get authentic.

As of now I'm leaning towards infinite simply because of their rep, but depending on what I hear about theirs and about Tobeco's recent ones, i might change my mind

My post was in response to Sark666, whe seems rather unhappy with his clones, and with folks raving about the Tobeco.

Looks like FT has the black Infinite now.

Infinite Kayfun V4 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer

The regular Infinite seems to be getting good reviews. But I am really surprised that Infinite is using the same SvoёMesto knock-off box as the RobbotTech and a few others are using. They usually use their own labeled box. Makes me start to think that several of these are all built on the same assembly line.

They might be using original packaging because of how complex it is compared to most atomizers; Svoemesto is undoubtedly going to have the most comprehensive and informative packaging/instructions. Though it may seem cheap, it is most likely the best way to get an accurate informative instruction packet/labeling on the box as well.

I may be completely wrong though, so don't quote or crucify me please

Not interested in the black personally; I don't like anno'd tanks (black especially) beause with black anno, it might not actually be anodized; Some companies just paint it or give it some other sort of coating. Even if it is safe, I would just rather have Stainless Steel; It looks clean to me, taste or odor, feels great in my hand, no chance of any chemical coating getting heated, you know; all the boring stuff no one really cares about, hence why I'm probably an idioit.
^^
I love my SS Kraken clone; I won't touch a Brass one, authentic or not.

Infinite Kv4 has been reviewed. Pretty good review. Looks like the Infinite might be the one to beat. I like the way they include the bell cap and an extra spring. Of course Infinite is known for including goodies. Their KFL+ v2 came with the Nano kit for less than the EHPro version cost.

I will admit I am still a little worried because the Infinite comes in the same Svoemesto knock-off box as some of the other lesser quality clones.

I think that's why some on FT have speculated they aren't really Infinite. That and Infinite's previous unwillingness to sell to FT.

I have read those reviews and really don't know what to make of them. How do these people actually know this for a fact?? In all honesty there really is no way to tell. I guess as long as you get a good quality clone and it works then it really doesn't matter much who made it.

Safest thing is to just not trust FT.. KSD also refuses to sell to FT as well, yet there's a hundred different "Vamo" knockoffs up there..

So according to what I got from the review of the Infinite User Error caused = pinched oring, = return the Tobeco, and thumbs down? If that is correct I give the guy a big thumbs down for returning it, and for not reviewing it. His oring drawer must not be very well stocked, took me a few minutes to dig through my limited supply of manufacturer supplied spares from other atomizers to come up with a working replacement for my Robot Tech. Giving something a thumbs down because you personally screw it up is a bit much.

His build also leaves a bit to be desired, especially on an atomizer I've found to be fairly build dependent, meaning the quality of vape, and experience is significantly changed by slight changes in the build.

As for not supplying orings in the purchase, we are talking about a pretty big difference in the cost of the Tobeco, and Infinite. Regardless of this, I've not had a bad product from roughly 20 pieces I have from Infinite.

Ordered the Infinite myself a few days ago, looking forward to getting it, I doubt I'll be disappointed.

Yeah I was surprised he was running the coil so high. As far as the Tobeco I do agree. He, as a reviewer, should have been more prepared and not given up that easy. Everyone else seems to be able to get hold of the right size o-ring.

As far as the cost you could look at it this way. Still way way cheaper than an authentic. LOL I wish the Infinite was out before I bought my EHPro.

Have not seen much on the Infinite either. Waiting to see more. They usually have top notch clones. I had an Infinite KFL+ and it was every bit as good as my EHPros.

i'm now sold on the Infinite. like you I have several Infinite KFL+ clones and they are all great! 1:1 quality. I also have a couple Infinite drippers, also good quality. so, i'm willing to take a leap of faith once again when I order a second K4. I would get a Tobeco too as they have good reviews but, not until I can find a good price :)

I believe they are indeed Infinite Audrey :) they came directly from SXK I bet or maybe not ;) my wife works for Costco and they sell levi's. however levi wont sell to them directly so they get them in other ways... that happens quite often actually and on many brands.

I own four Kayfun V4 clones: two Tobeco brand and one Infinite and the other is mystery (but had the same box as the Infinite).

The two Tobeco clones work great, no resistance fluctuations or jumps. The other two clones are hopping all over the place resistance-wise plus the atomizer coil screws are smaller and don't hold 26ga. Kanthal wire very well at all. The Tobecos coil screws do a good job of securing the 26ga. wire.

I'm going to sell the two other clones and get more of the Tobeco clones. Other than a minor wet/dry sanding of the juice control rings to smooth them out a bit, the Tobecos are vaping the best.

So from my experience, I would recommend the Tobeco Kayfun V4 clones over the other two brands so far.

Just received another Tobeco clone a few days ago in the mail.

Cleaned it in the ultrasonic cleaner for 40 minutes with the heater on and a few drops of Dawn dishwashing liquid to degrease it and remove any minute machine oil traces and odor. Then rinsed thoroughly under the hottest tap water I could get.
BTW, this was completely disassembled so all parts could get clean.
Let dry thoroughly, wrapped a 3.0mm ID 26ga. Kanthal coil @ 1.00 ohms (about 7 wraps with my my new Duro-coiler).
Checked it on my ohm meter, spot on 1.0 ohm resistance.
Did a test fire on my mod to check the coil, fiddled with it a bit with my ceramic-tipped tweezer and got the coil compressed a little better and firing from the center to the outer ends. Installed a Japanese organic cotton wick with the ends flared into the bottom of the juice wells.

Fires straight on at 1.0 ohm on my VW mod at 17.5 watts, no issues with resistance hopping or fluctuations like I had with my Infinite clone and the other clone which I wasn't sure about the manufacturer.

I am sticking with Tobeco clones exclusively now! NO PROBLEMS whatsoever! Rock solid, easy to coil with 26ga. Kanthal - no issues with the coil screws not gripping the wire properly like the other two clones. Resistance stays constant and steady.

I unconditionally recommend that if anyone is considering the Kayfun V4 atomizer, then stick with Tobeco! You won't be sorry.

The only con I see is that with Tobeco you don't get any extra O-rings, coil screws or other parts, just the inner spring and that's all.
I did order from FastTech a couple of spare parts kits just to be on the safe side and the price was reasonable, about $1.76 per kit.
Since I was ordering a wooden atomizer stand and ejuice shelf at the same time I though I would just add the spare parts kits too.

Tobeco ROCKS :thumb: Kayfun V4 clone market! They just work each and every time!
