I will start with I don't sub ohm. I am only looking at the sub tank because it can be rebuilt. I did have the kayfun lite before and could never wick it right. Right now I use erlkonigins and I really like them. I just want something different and my wife said she would get me a new tank I just had to choose one. I like the look of both of them. The deck on the Kayfun seems bigger. I usually build between 1.5 and 2 ohm. So what is yalls input?

I think either would be a downgrade from the erlk. Maybe try out a Rose V2-S? All things considered, my favorite tank atty is a billet box with the bridge. But I use a dripper way more often. Fav current setup is an rDNA 40 with an authentic Veritas w/ titanium coil for temp control. It likely will blow any tank outta the water because the Veritas really is fairly leak resistant and temp control won't burn the wick. With temp control, there's no need to approach the threshold of over dripping and no need to worry about not "enough" juice on the wick.

The Kayfun V4 is great for experienced RTA users, as the Subtank's simplicity is geared toward the new and less experienced RTA users. The K4 is unquestionably a better quality/designed device (Germany) when compared to the Subtank, which is produced in China for the lowest possible cost. I've always been a quality over quantity type of person, but that's just me.
I also hate how China doesn't disclose a full/clear material list for their vaping products, unlike SvoeMesto!

I'm far from an expert, but "sub ohm" doesn't really mean what it used to. Not long ago it was a necessity that really encompassed the term "cloud chaser" which is a more relevant term for what was previously the same outcome. But that was when mechanical mods were 100% required for honkin' clouds, which I also have zero interest in. With a device like a DNA 40, sub ohm coils are necessary for temp control to work properly. My coil is .25 ohms currently. I would NEVER put that on a mech because the circuit is wide open and the outcome is ,IMO, overkill. I would say that the vapor output is close to a 1.0 ohm build on a mech. Personally I have little to zero interest in VV/VW as I actually like playing around with coil building but temperature control is incredible. It is incomparable to my other devices and is truly a game changer. Mine is not without its glitches, but if I lost it today I would immediately replace it with another.
