Hello all,

To cut a long story short, I lost my Provari/kayfun Lite Plus combo

Its sad but my mistake so tried to move on with my MVP/Kanger Aerotank combo but other things have happened:

- I dropped to 12 mg

- Virgin vapor has stopped doing custom juices; especially the wonderful Shellshocked (how am i going to find another roasted Hazelnut flavour!)

- This combo doesn't feel the same

I do want a Provari 3 but cant really fork out for it right now and the most important think is having an experience that helped me almost cut down analogs completely. I was wondering whether its really the tank that gave me that experience and the Provari as an added luxury in which case i can get it in the future.

If this is the case i was considering the new kayfun was better than the one I had and perhaps this may help me get back on track and will the MVP/New Kayfun combo work??

many many thanks to everyone

Thanks for you replies

I should have mentioned - I already had the MVP and VTR but they were my secondary vapes.

Is the Kayfun V4 better than the KLP+ though? As I may get a Provari 3 in future

Just hope its a better vape with 12mg...... Or will it be far inferior to my KFL/ Provari combo??

The say the new ones are a lot airier, which I personally would hate. If you like lung hits, you might like it better.

Otherwise, KFL+ are cheap nowadays -- sweet-vapes.com has the EHPro version for $25 -- I'm waiting on one in vape mail right now! :D A gold one, this time!! :D

As for the mod... a battery tube is a battery tube. you can pay $200 if you really feel you must, but a $30 one works just as well.

So your saying a Kayfun has a VAPING advantage over a regular Kanger Aerotank Mega....but me getting a Provari 3 can wait until I can afford it as a luxury which it is?

Can't the new ones airflow be controlled somehow??

But and MVP/Kayfun you reckon is a good improvement?

Also.....I'm not really like this but do you think I should get a 'clone'??..... These are very expensive and I need to save some cash for juces

The atomizer is what make the most difference In your vape quality. As long as the mod hooked to the atomizer has enough power to run It it doesn't make much difference which mod It is other than personal preference imo.

So to answer your question. ...yes the kayfun should be a much better vape than the kanger

I think so, yes... a Kayfun is an improvement over pretty much any tank out there, IMO; the only vape I've had that even came close to it is from my new Magma clone. I've heard extremely good things about all the MVPs.

The new KF4s... they do have adjustable airflow, but since I prefer a tighter airflow, from what I've gleaned about the new KF4s, with my preference for tighter airflow, I'd be much happier staying with the "old" KFL+s. Those who prefer an airier draw, for lung hitting/cloud chasing, would no doubt love the new KF4s.

As for the Provari... I know the Provarinati will probably come burn a Provari effigy in my front yard... :D But $200 for a mod seems outrageous to me -- $100 seems outrageous to me! I don't have a single mod that cost more than $39.99, and all of them, all bought for bargain prices, still work as well as the first day I bought them. The only ones I might suggest steering clear of, are 1) the Cloupors, heard some really terrible things about them, 2) the iStick 20w runs hot because it's in Mean rather than RMS mode with no way to change it, and 3) Vamos can be about 50/50 in terms of quality -- apparently mods using the "Vamo" chip are made by a lot of different places; some good, some not so -- if you get one of the better ones, then Vamos are as good as any other bargain mod (though they seem to run a little cooler/lower powered than some), but if you get one of the lesser ones, it might not last even a month, and there's no way of knowing beforehand which one you're getting.

If you can find any of the old Sigelei Zmax mods, those are terrific, and were very affordable right from the get-go; now, with the high-watt sigeleis out there, they're probably even cheaper. Not sure the Smok Zmax's are as good, though in general I like Smok products -- just got a Smok Galileo (mech mod) and I LOVE it! -- $34.95 at MadVapes!

But yes, I have heard very good things about the MVPs, and I love my vv3s, which I think use the same chip as the MVPs -- both by Innokin -- one of my vv3s is right at a year old, and still works as well as the day I got it. Innokin makes good quality.

Thanks for the advice!

I want a 'hit' the same I get with a cigarette.....is this the lung hit you are on about??

I want a bit of. Vapour yes but I'm not into cloud chasing or sub-ohm stuff.....just that great vaping experience that got me off analogies the first time

Do you think clones could be good enough in this situation?

No, the type of "cigarette" hit is like sucking a milkshake thru a straw -- a mouth hit, in that you draw it first into the mouth, THEN into the lungs (or not, as you choose); the lung hits are more like inhaling... that other stuff we can't talk about here. :D I prefer the mouth-type "cigarette" hit myself, which is why I like a tighter draw, there's some resistance in the draw (resistance as in resisting the pull, not ohms), which is more like taking a draw on a cigarette.

I'm definitely a fan of clones. If you personally find ethical issues in using them, I can tell you that Tobeco Kayfuns don't have any of the "Kayfun" or "svoemesto" logos, they are completely blank; EhPro clones have the "Designed in Russia" "Made in Germany" writing on the bottom of the base, which to me seems like counterfeiting, since they are NOT made in Germany, they're made in China. Personally it doesn't bother me too much, but some have ethical issues with it. I have 2 Tobeco KFL+ clones, and they are terrific; I keep the airflow almost entirely closed, and they give me a very good mouth hit -- like you, I'm not into cloud chasing, I'm into having something as a substitute for a cigarette! :D

I have two kayfun v4 clones mades by tobeco.... They do have the logos on them. And consensus from other threads seems the tobeco kayfun V4 is a better quality clone than the ehpro and others.

Ah, the KFL+ Tobecos don't have the logos or writing. But I've heard that, about the quality of the Tobeco KF4s, versus the others.

I'm hesitant to recommend a kayfun clone.... Like any clone, they may need tweaking, and the kayfuns are highly advanced manafacturing marvels. Once working right, my humble opinion is nothing can come close to flavor. But getting them working can be frustrating. I'd caution anyone that a spare o ring kit should be purchased if using the v4.

Hello all,

Thank you so much....

I've just watched a video from 10 days ago by VapnFagn who reckons that the fact that Tobeco do not give any extra O-rings or spares put them at the bottom but they gave a VERY favourable review to the ones by Infinite

Do the clones require more cleaning, like do you have to disassemble 40 parts every time the tank is empty to clean it?

Coming with spare orings is a rather silly excuse to judge tobecos poorly... Check out the very long thread , you'll see tobeco is recommended time and again (and believe me, I'm not a tobeco fan boy). I replaced all the orings on my one clone that was leaking terribly for a fix, the other I have has never had any leaks.

Although all the parts seems very intimidating at first, it cones apart and goes together very quickly once you are used to it.

Do you mean that crazy 50 page thread?! Lol....if it's that popular there might be a reason

So in your opinion is the Infinite version not that good??
