Kayfun build suggestions??? (also boxmods-maybe?)

Iv'e gotten into checking out the various coil and wicking types and i'm tryin to get the most of these kayfuns. I run a high vg (think 80%). Coil materials i currently have are 28 & 26 kanthal and cotton for wicking. I have been interested in other wick material and have been looking into silica. I like my vape to fire quick and hard. I've been testing the Little Boy rda and its alright but i think i rather the tank style or possibly a box with the bottle of juice in it (really have only seen pics so not for positive on the workings or pros-cons functionality or anything. Oh yeah while on the subject if there is a person that knows about the boxes I am very interested in them and will be building a lil parallel 18500 box and would love an opportunity to talk with someone about the types of and pros and cons. I've spent many sleepless nights researching vape and this is one of the hardest subjects to dig info on i tell ya lol

So far the best build I've found for my kayfun is the one I'm running now. It's called a Clapton coil..... And it's a pita to make, but my god does it work

OMG i've seen that one and it's caught my eye even before i was really starting to understand the coils. I wan't one of those SO bad. It is good to hear from a user of one and its high marks so i know it wouldn't be all that work for not equivalent payout. I'm sure i would have a meltdown trying to get those wires under that stupid screw setup. That's one of the main reasons that has me trying new tank styles, most notable NOT that syle. I have an orchid coming in the mail (should be today) its got open post you screw down onto the wire like most RDA. Sry back on subject lol before you discovered the clapton coil did you have a good setup that worked for you?

Those are some cool coils. I run mine on an MVP so I couldn't possibly think of doing either one. Maybe if I get a shiny new mech for the holidays though.

Actually even though the Clapton shines at higher wattage, it would technically run on the MVP.... It Congress in at 1.2 ohms

This is the first build in my kayfun I've been able to run over 15 watts. I currently go between 23.5-25 watts.... Haven't tried to find it's peak yet

You should try something simple first. Just a horizontal single coil wicked with cotton or rayon. The build really depends on your mod capabilities. After a few good builds and wicks try something more interesting if you want to experiment. Twisted, Clapton, vertical, whatever you want.

As for the box mods, there's a ton you can choose from and even more coming out. It's up to your vape style.
