My apologies if I posted this in the wrong forum.

I received my kayfun Lite clone today and was anxious to to try it out.

I had watched a lot of videos and read a lot of threads showing how it worked and many suggestions for a microcoil with cotton setup before it arrived but filled it up and vaped right out of the box.

I was immediately impressed and wasn't aware this model had the adjustable airflow and after tightening it a little, was even more impressed.

After a few hits, I got an off taste that I guessed to be the similar machine oil that my trident had and took out the coils and proceeded my build.

I was able to get a 10 wrap 2 ohm microcoil but messed it up trying to get the wire under the posts, which I found a bit tricky.

By the third try I am all set up and happy but am under them impression a little half turn of the wire around the post before tightening is what worked.

Is this something that gets easier?

I'm somewhat used to tight spaces as I have been microcoiling and cotton wicking my protank for a while.

One trick I do when attaching the coil legs to the posts to keep from damaging the coil is to insert in the coil whatever I wrapped the coils with or something of the same size to support the coil and it gives me something to hold on to while making the connections. This "tool" can also be used to raise the coil to the correct height above the air hole after the coil is attached without damaging the coil.
