Kayfun glass conversion kit

Science of vaping offers glass conversion kits for the authentic kayfuns as well as the russian 91%. I just added myself to the list to get one. Anyone have one or know how they perform?

They've been available now for a few months. The first batch had supplier glass issues, which SoV CS took care of at no cost to the customer. The second batch was much better... your's will be from the 3rd or, more likely the 4th, batch.

I had a bit of trouble filling my glass conversion at first. The piece with the threading on it is a bit thicker than the original and it covers up some of the fill hole, but I found an old syringe tip I had laying around that was small enough to fit all the way in there and it works great. I don't have any trouble filling any of the original tanks with a standard bottle, but definitely need the syringe tip to fill the glass. I don't know what size it is, but it's tiny.

Is the kit polished stainless or does it match the brushed finished of the kayfun?

I was hoping someone would make just that narrow section of the clear plastic on the standard Kayfun Lite out of glass.

Read this in another thread..............curious if it would work b/c I'm moving into rebuildables and looking for another mod but my deal killer is I want glass b/c I want to avoid having to mess with tank cracker juices. Glass ....just makes life easier.

I don't know what they mean by fits Kayfun "Standard"

The clear plastic center tank section of the Kayfun Lite has threads on each end ... Looking at the photo of the replacement glass in this link shows a glass center section with no threads ... Also the glass tube looks longer than the standard clear plastic center section on the Kayfun Lite.

There are several versions.

Kayfun 2.1, Kayfun 3.1, and Kayfun lite, all different.

Is that even possible?

It would be kind of hard to make a middle glass piece, with THREADS, wouldn't it?

Although, I guess the kanger pro tank has a glass piece w/ threads on it..... but the kanger pro tank glass is also real thin and cheap.





On another note, does anyone know if the kayfun lite glass conversion kits fit the clones? I have an EHPro kayfun lite, and would love the glass kit, if it'll fit.
