So this thing unscrewed entirely from the basedeck while I was working today. All the juice, in my pocket. I was wondering why I smelled so much like Mt. Baker Moo juice lol. What is everyones thoughts on the possibility of a dab of loctite on the threads between the basedeck and the tank? Not the red stuff mind you, just the blue to give it some extra friction

Here's the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for Loctite Blue:
MSDS for Loctite Blue
At the top, it says: CAUSES SKIN AND EYE IRRITATION. MAY CAUSE AN ALLERGIC SKIN REACTION. It's also a skin irritant and an eye irritant. I don't think I'd want to inhale any of it. God only knows what happens when you subject it to high heat.

How about trying some Teflon Tape?

Alternatives? Glad I asked, that's what ecf is here for. Maybe a small layer of Teflon plumbers tape over the threads?

Haha! You read my mind. Geniuses lol

For reference, my buddy has the has setup I do. His glass was actually cut crooked, like not level. He took a level to it. Just nonsense with the 79 dollar price tag. Hoping the Pyrex tank I ordered sits pretty in there. Also the nano glass I got with it doesn't even sit tight in the o rings. At all

Here's the MSDS for one brand of Teflon tape:
MSDS for Argco Thread Seal Tape
It looks to me like it's an inert solid up to 750F. That should be safe, but don't sue me if you turn yellow and need a new liver 8-o

I used Teflon to sure up the top cap on my rsst. Far more exposed and way more heat with the builds I was doing. Top cap had to be getting to 160 degrees or so with all that heat. Kayfun won't even come close to that at 15 watts

Yeah, as long as you keep it away from the coils, you should be fine. Even the coils probably only get up to 300C/500F or so on a dry hit. If you start showing any of the symptoms listed for exposure on the MSDS, stop.
Sounds good. For the moment, I'm just using the kayfun at home because my reo has never wronged me and never quits. Once the p3 is in my hands things will change. I figure a tube mod will spin on my pocket while I'm working, because when the kayfun came apart, it was on a box mod, which doesn't spin in my pocket. We'll see how it goes. I can't imagine the Teflon giving me a hard time because I ran that rsst pretty hard and didn't notice any issues

Not top fill, but still a screw on quartz kit.. No relying on the o-rings:
