Shouldn' t be the problem being new. It's likely a glitch with Tapatalk. For some reason it won't let me link.
Btw- I've been trying to read your blog on batteries, but keep getting redirected to the forum home on Tapatalk. Is it because I'm new?
Anyone have the "easy-fill" top cap with one of these glass tanks?
The Rainbow kit? I would've thought the SOV would be better quality. Interesting. Do you have to send it in, or was that to ensure proper operation?I sent mine in to www.spectrumtamks.com for fitment. It is scheduled for delivery back to me today.
He said the Rainbow version is what worked. Email Mike for details if necessary.
I apologize for the confusion. The Rainbow kit? I would've thought the SOV would be better quality. Interesting. Do you have to send it in, or was that to ensure proper operation?
I apologize for the confusion.
I have a SOV V1 & SOV V2. I have the original tank on the V1 and a Spectrum Tank on the V2. Both work impeccably.
I also bought a DX Top Fill Cap & Quartz Kit from Avid Vapers. The glass was chipped on the edges. They said it was typical of fused quartz. I sent that whole device to Spectrum to be fitted for their glass. Coincidentally the Rainbow glass fit it.
I would never compare an SOV to a Rainbow.
I hear ya, the Nano, while it looks cool, seems to be just silly. It defeats the entire purpose of the Kayfun. I seem to go through about 1 full tank a day anyway, so for the times when I want just a few drags of another flavor, I ordered a Veritas RDA.I have the SOV V2 and several spectrum tanks. Absolutely delighted. No leaks, looks great. All on real deal KFL+ V2s. And I am very picky.
Just FYI, though you did not ask, skip the SOV nano kit. Only holds a sneeze of juice. If you want a shorty KFL, get a shorty makrolon tank from SM. I like that too with a 350 mod, from time to time.
I bought a cheap glass kit from a local B&M. I have had it for a few days and have had big problems with it. It will not fill from the bottom screw and when i pick up the tank the o ring gives and i end up pulling the tank off allowing all the juice to come spilling out. Any of these problems with SOV v2?
