the difference between the SOV V1 and the V2 is the V2 has a threaded chimney which keeps everything secure. The V1 is only held together with o-rings.

yes, both SOV kits are compatible with the Svoemesto KFL+V2.

I have the SOV V2 and it's wonderful. highly recommended. I would wait on ordering the Spectrum glass -- the fit is not optimal and is leaky. Supposedly, he's re-making the glass soon.

Anyone have the "easy-fill" top cap with one of these glass tanks?

I sent mine in to www.spectrumtamks.com for fitment. It is scheduled for delivery back to me today.

He said the Rainbow version is what worked. Email Mike for details if necessary.

The Rainbow kit? I would've thought the SOV would be better quality. Interesting. Do you have to send it in, or was that to ensure proper operation?

I use the V2 and am highly pleased with it.

I apologize for the confusion.
I have a SOV V1 & SOV V2. I have the original tank on the V1 and a Spectrum Tank on the V2. Both work impeccably.
I also bought a DX Top Fill Cap & Quartz Kit from Avid Vapers. The glass was chipped on the edges. They said it was typical of fused quartz. I sent that whole device to Spectrum to be fitted for their glass. Coincidentally the Rainbow glass fit it.
I would never compare an SOV to a Rainbow.

Lol. OK gotcha. [emoji3]

I'll look into the DX cap. Thank you!

I have the SOV V2 and several spectrum tanks. Absolutely delighted. No leaks, looks great. All on real deal KFL+ V2s. And I am very picky.

Just FYI, though you did not ask, skip the SOV nano kit. Only holds a sneeze of juice. If you want a shorty KFL, get a shorty makrolon tank from SM. I like that too with a 350 mod, from time to time.

I hear ya, the Nano, while it looks cool, seems to be just silly. It defeats the entire purpose of the Kayfun. I seem to go through about 1 full tank a day anyway, so for the times when I want just a few drags of another flavor, I ordered a Veritas RDA.

That's great to hear about the full size kit! Coincidentally, I was at the "local" b&m snagging some juice, and had to pass on a juice that I liked because it was citrusy, and I'm afraid of cracking the kayfun tank (dripper hasn't come in yet). This is one reason I really like the idea of the glass kits. The other being that they are just so freaking cool!

Sent from my Droid Mini.

my #26 spectrum tank is completely leaky with SOV V2. the glass is not the correct size -- mostly in height so the chimney doesnt thread down completely as well as being slightly larger in inner diameter so it is a bit loose. Maybe I received the wrong glass, but I've contacted the spectrum guy twice and no response. which is bogus.

looks great and it's a quality piece of glass, but I never use it anymore. I just use the stock SOV glass without any problems.

I bought a cheap glass kit from a local B&M. I have had it for a few days and have had big problems with it. It will not fill from the bottom screw and when i pick up the tank the o ring gives and i end up pulling the tank off allowing all the juice to come spilling out. Any of these problems with SOV v2?

no.

sov and avidvaper's kits are threaded. as far as I know, they are the only ones that are.

threadless kits are bogus.
