Trying to get my posts done so I can begin to participate elsewhere. I finally got me one of these kayfun lite RTAs and love this thing. I've noticed it has really smacked me with vapor and flavor. It also seems to give me more nicotine as I find I am not chain vaping it nearly as much as I was my iClear 30S. Is this a fairly normal thing with these rebuildable atomizers? Where have I been? What else am I missing? LOVE IT!!

I'm a vaping newbie and was looking to upgrade with RBA but got kinda scared with people talking about various issues and put it off. I recently purchased some Aspire Nautilus tanks and am pleased with but already itching again. That being said, What has your experience been as far as rebuilding? Did you purchase a clone or actual? Was it purchase online or at a brick and mortar? Any insights are appreciated.

I love love love the kayfun and the taifun! Both provide dense thick vapor with so much flavor!! In fact just got done rebuilding my kayfun lite this morning. My most favorite tanks I have are my two kayfun and my taifun! ! Really great rbas. In fact they will spoil you to just about any other. The flavor is that good! And the kayfun and taifun are easy builds and straight foward. Defenitely my faves! It's really amazing how intense and bold the flavor is on these. What a huge difference in taste isn't it! When I first tasted my kayfun, that was it, I was hooked. Glad your enjoying yours as well. If you get a chance, check out the taifun. Flavor and vapor is equal if not more intense than the kayfun. That's another rba you might like as well.

All you need is a kayfun clone, a $7 spool of 28g kanthal wire and some cotton. Look at some youtube videos on how to build a microcoil for a kayfun...keeping in mind that a cheap butane lighter can be used instead of a hand torch. It took me about 20 mins to figure out how to build a functional coil/wick. I put it off for a long time too but honestly there's nothing to be scared of.

I got mine at a B&M I think its a clone but the box did have the brand name on it. I built my first coil after watching videos and it was rather easy for me. Ended up at 2.1 ohms which is great since I have it on top of an MVP. I find I get a more clean and thicker flavor and vape. I have a nautilus also in my tank army and I like it a lot too but this Kayfun WOW. I am probably going to try a microcoil build in the nautilus some time this weekend. Oh yeah and happy 4th vaping to you also.

After using my kayfuns for about a straight month, I used some clearos (fluxomizer) to sample new flavors because neither kayfun was empty yet.

Although the vape on the clearos was good, I'm still asking myself hour the hell I used to use those everyday lol
Biggest difference was amount of vapor. Flavor was there on the clearos but not as strong and lasting as kayfun.

id definitely agree with tymman75 about the kayfun hitting hard though especially compared to clearo's ive had to cut my nic from 18mg to 12mg and may go lower as the th is still killer

If you had two pick just one, which would it be for someone who has never built one but pretty sure they can do it after watching several videos and does not expect any issues other than what would be normally experienced, taifun or kaifun clone? Prices are virtually equal. Taifun is at a fairly reputable b&m but never visited and kaifun from a site I like really well but doesn't state its a V2 and a few dollars more than say fasttech. And one wicking question...I bought some sterile cotton balls from CVS yesterday...do they need to be boiled or not before using? And is it more of a requirement or preference (getting ready to pull the trigger on rba but just spent several bills on a provari and 3 nautilus tanks so wife gonna need a bit of convincing I can really save $$ by spending just a bit more $ and messed up by getting the aspire tanks first).
