Hello guys,

I got a kayfun light 91% and I loved it. Worked great for the last 3 months, however, within the last 2 weeks and drop my provari with kayfun lite attached twice and now I am having problems.

Now I start to have burn taste. After 2-3 hits, I will have burn taste and I have to prime pull if I don't want the burn taste. However, If I pull too much, then it flood. Nothing has changed in my procedures, material or set up. This driving me nuts, please help guys.

Thank you so much in advance for you help,

Andy

Check the o-ring on the top cap, below the drip tip, the one that's supposed to form a seal with the chimney.

With the tank unscrewed from the top cap, push the chimney into the cap. Suck on the drip tip while holding your thumb over the bottom of the chimney. If that seal is good, you shouldn't be able to pull any air through it.

I was having the same issue. It seemed like the juice flow just couldn't keep up.

With the wear and tear from rebuilding, that o-ring will eventually fail.

I agree with Joe. You can start by holding your finger over the air hole on the side and drawing hard through the drip tip. You should sense a hard pull something like a soda straw with your finger over the end. You should feel a very hard pull and see a bubble rise in the juice. If you can pull air easily during that time, you have a poor o-ring seal somewhere.
