I received my kayfun Lite today and I am 'not' liking the taste. Using cotton wick (cotton ball) and microcoil and vaping a combination of Grumpy’s Hooch(75%) and Boba’s Bounty(25%), both 50/50 PG/VG.
Doesn’t taste burnt it just tastes ‘funky’ and somewhat ‘muted’, it is really not nice. Is it possible that these juices are ‘not’ kayfun friendly or am I doing something wrong?
Vapor production is good and device appears to be working fine … ie no leaking.
Any suggestions?

Some people find some flavors to be muted in the KFL (unfortunately, I'm one of them). Some don't. There shouldn't be any reason for it, and there doesn't seem to be any pattern with regard to any of the usual suspects (wire gauge, wicking material, number of wraps, diameter of coils, resistance, volts, watts etc.)

I've tried a dozen variations of build - none of them made a difference for me. If anything, it seems to be related to the flavor itself. For me, 'tobacco'-ish flavors almost disappear entirely. Ultimately though I love the KFL, and have several flavors that I like well enough in it that I'm not giving it up.

My only suggestion would be to get a bunch of different wire, wick, and juices - then experiment.

Update: Thought I'd update this post as I have resolved this issue. The resolution oddly enough was a simple change of the drip tip which made an immediate change to the flavor of the juice. The hole in the stock drip tip of the Kayfun Lite is very tiny ... changing to a 'wide mouth' drip tip instantly restored the flavor of the liquid and removed the 'funky' flavor I was tasting. Allowing the cotton wick to soak overnight also greatly improved flavor as well as this is always the case for me. I have been vaping the exact same setup today with only changing the drip tip and flavor is excellent! Very, very happy with the Kayfun Lite, looks like it has lived up to the hype at least for me!
