First time poster/long time lurker. I have been in search for a good tank for a while now and have only found the aspire nautilus to be above and beyond what I expected. I only ordered a kayfun lite clone because I enjoy building almost as much as vaping. First build was a success however after a day I have experienced an unknown leaking problem with it. It was vaping just fine when liquid started pouring out of the airhole. For the record I had to remove the pin insulator from the bottom of the base, sand it down a bit in order for the pin to sit flush with 510 connection. This was done so that it would fit on my provari. Any similar leakage from anyone out there or a possible fix?

From what I have read that is just the issue with clones at times. There is little to no quality control in these products
OK, I've dealt with 2 of these now. I have a real KFL+ and just bought a clone. The clone leaked, through dumb luck it seemed I was able to fix it. I was helping out a buddy yesterday with another KFL+ clone which was leaking and fixed tthat one too.
Take it all apart and before reassembling, juice (with e-juice) down all the o-rings. You may need to swap out one or more but juice them down first. Make sure you also get juice on the small o-ring in the cap where the chimney pokes through. Check the chimney cap on the expansion chamber (inner tube over the coil) and make sure that is together good. You may even need to unscrew each section more than once, re-juice and snug it up. My finding was the o-rings were binding just the tiniest amount, allowing the vacuum necessary in the chamber to 'escape.' Good luck!

How are you filling it? Both me and my dad have kayfun lite clones, and the only time it leaked is when we filled it from the top. Since we started filling it from the bottom, it hasn't leaked again. If you are filling it from the bottom, and it still leaks, make sure that the chimney is on tight.
When you fill from the top the best why I have found is ti loosen one of the center connections 1/2 to one turn...fill... when you just catch the threads of the top piece, flip it upside down and then tighten everything. This way the air is allowed to escape through the vent and the pressure in the chamber is balanced.
Also when you fill from the top fill to just above the chimney base.
Thank you I will try this next. I have only been filling from the bottom via drip hole with a syringe directly into the tank.
BTW, you CAN fill it from the top with no issues. You need to put your finger over the airhole while the top's off. Once filled and you've bot the threads to the o-ring, invert the tank, release the airhole and snug the top in.

I don't know folks. Been doing battle with this clone all night even rebuilt the micro coil with more cotton as was suggested on other sites vape is still amazing. The thing still leaks out of the air hole. Tried the above recommendations different filling methods everything I can think of. Four refills later and an empty bottle of a nice vape for some reason it has just stopped. It kept leaking and I just vape the heck out of it till it slowed and stopped. I don't know how long it will last but I am keeping it upright.
Also another issue with it is it will not fit on my itaste svd and now won't even fit my mech. It barely fits the provari by a thread. My advice is to stay clear of this clone unless you really trust where it's coming from. Aspire nautilus is the way to go. The thing is amazing and have put my 30 plus other tanks to the side. I have also been able to rebuild it with a single micro coil. Thanks for the help guys.
Not trying to start the long waged debate but I have 3 real KFL and one Real KFL+ and all work flawlessly. I had 2 clones and both leaked to the point I sold them cheap. I do not know for certain whether it was the fact that they were clones but they did not seem to be built as well and while I felt the machining was as good the end result for me was 100% problems with the clones and 100% success with the real thing. ( side note I am not against clones per se just my experience with these)
Markdek that's the video I went by riptrippers does a good job on pretty much any rebuilds.
I have a Tobeco KFL+ clone and the only time I get a drop or 2 out of the air hole is after filling. I fill through the top while covering the air-hole, tighten the top to the o-rings, flip it and uncover the air-hole and finish tightening the top. I notice if I have the airflow controller set to tight that can cause it to flood and the excess will leak out of the air-hole. If you have an airflow control try loosening it up. One other thing if you flood it, turn it upside down and blow through the air-hole and the excess will come out of the top. If none of this helps I can only assume that you have an air-leak somewhere in your seals. Try replacing the gaskets and see if that solves your problem. Good luck!!!

It was that specific clone itself. Threads were not property machined. Still leaks going into the parts pile. Tried my friends Russian and it fits perfectly. Tried another clone and it fits all the mods I have. Just was a bad mod like someone said previously there's no real quality control on the knockoffs.
I bought two kayfun lites from fasttech. I threw away the wick assembly that came with the unit and made my own. I stood it up and left for 20 minutes, every drop ran out. I read about the issue and did everything suggested. My second rebuilt was well above the airhole, still leaked a little. I figured out to always have the airhole pointed up when I laid it down. That stopped the leak. I even made a cradle out of a box when I'm at my desk at work. After several draws the leak stopped, so I'm thinking I filled too high (I fill from the bottom). Blowing back thru the airhole seemed to help for a while. I'm gonna try to make it work, I love these.
I've used the kanger t3, protank, smoktech trophy and tumbler. Nothing comes close to the kayfun!!!!!!!

Could be you've got too much wadding in there, trim the cotton as it can block the juice channels. Some clones are better than others. I'd recommend HCigar, not Ehpro.
