I just got a kayfun Lite Plus set up and it worked great for a couple of days. I live in Colorado and took it from 5,000 ft. to maybe 8,000 feet and it pretty well blew out on me. Liquid was leaking from somewhere and I was getting it up the drip tube. I'm a noob on the kayfun, so it could have been user error. Anyone else get blowouts when changing altitude?

It makes sense. As air pressure decreases, the air in the tank expands and pushes the liquid out.

Yep, sure can. Also, watch for heat, as that will cause the same problem.
Always a good idea to upend any device that has a bottom coil, as that will help reduce leakage.

Had this happen in my suit case in June while flying, luckily it was in a ziploc bag. Forgot about it on the way back and had it in my pocket and surprisingly nothing happened.
Yup, when you vape, you create a lower air pressure in the chamber vs the tank. So fluid "self wicks" the chamber. If you fill your Kayfun at a lower altitude and travel to a higher altitude that will create lower air pressure in the chamber compared to the tank and it will continue to self wick till the pressure is equal. .
Try using it while increasing altitude. If it is used the pressure in the tank will equalize.
