kayfun lite plus build with 24 gauge wire

Anyone ever try building a kayfun lite plus using 24 gauge wire? I'm just curious if it works well or if thinner wire works better.

It is possible as I have done several builds with it in my kfl+. It is harder to secure to the deck. It also requires more wraps with 24g which in turn makes a huge coil! Not the most kayfun friendly IME. I prefer 26g and 28g and around 0.8 ohms. Hard to achieve that with 24g.

Also have had issues with dry hits at lower reaistances with 24g as I use 100% vg liquid. Has a hard time staying saturated.

Too thick IMHO. I've tried both 24 and 26 gauge and when I try to get the coil to a high enough resistance to not have wicking issues it makes the coil too large for the chamber. Just my opinion but I get the best vape out of a kayfun with a 28 gauge micro coil around 1.2 ohms.

Have only used 28g on both of my kayfuns, seem to like it a lot so far.

28 is good ... 30 gauge is also a good all-around size if you have several different re-buildable's, as it seems to work in all kinds
