Ugh! My Kayfun lite plus air control screw is acting as a lock, since it must have worked its way down closer to the top of my Panzer. It is now stuck in the recessed area of the 510 connection(the radiation symbol.) It is only allowing me to turn it about a quarter of the way off from being flush. The gap is very small. I tried to get a 1mm precision screwdriver in there. I was only able to get it in there a tiny bit. I am kind of at a loss as to how to get it off the mod. I don't want to mess with it too much as it is pretty full of juice. Every time I try to force it to unscrew beyond the stopping point, the Kayfun tank starts to unscrew. I'm planning on vaping it dry before I do any serious work on it. Any suggestions?

Lose the juice, or pour as much as you can in a tumbler. Then unscrew whatever parts of the Kfun that you can.

Another idea that comes to mind is, after the above, remove the battery and immerse the assembly in WD40, or just spray/drip some into the 510 connector area. It should come apart.

hold it upside down and put a vibrator on it and hope the vibrations run the screw in?

Not familiar with vibrators but from XXX films I shoud think they're thicker than 18mm? I'll have to ask a woman... :D

PS, If it doesn't come off at least it should have a hell of an orgasm! <gd&r,f!>

Good Lord! What a simple solution... Man, you deserve a Nobel. Thinking of all the visegrip marks I've left on my reluctant tanks. :) Kudos to you!

Yeah learned that somewhere on the internet after getting frustrated like the op. It really works, first time I tried I had spent maybe 2 hours trying to remove a kayfun from my nemesis top cap. Tried the gloves after reading about that trick several times, was done in 5 secs...

Well, I tried to mess with it some more now that I cleared all of the juice out. I haven't made any progress. The only thing I was able to do was to eliminate the possibility that it was the fill screw, since it looked like it was in all the way from the top. Oddly enough, when I was able to kinda peek in the gap by tilting the kayfun top as much as it would go, I was unable to see any obstruction in there. There has to be though, since it has only about a 30 degree range of motion.

I'm starting to think I might have to get used to the idea that it is permanently affixed to the mod :(

I had my Kayfun stick on my Caravela top cap today. I'm going to get some rubber gloves, but today I had to get it loose with vise grips. I wrapped it with a rag, but still scratched the top cap a little. I was not a happy camper, but, then again, I bought these to use them, and stuff happens when you use stuff.

Well, I tried to remove it wearing rubber gloves while running the top cap/kayfun bottom under hot water with no luck. I ripped a tiny hole in one of the gloves doing so. I'll try to soak the two in hot water tomorrow. Though, I think that air flow screw must have worked its way down pretty far for it to be this impossible to unscrew...

I have unscrewed the center pin, but I'm not sure how that would help.

The damnedest thing happened a few hours ago. I took my "Kayfzer" out of my pocket to take a toot. I could tell that it was unscrewed past the stopping point. The thing worked its way out on its own, just as mysteriously as it got stuck! I think from me running with my mod in my pocket, the vibrations must have gotten the air flow screw back up into the kayfun as it must have done previously to work its way down to get it stuck. There are marks on the Panzer top cap from the screw. It was just as I had suspected. I can't believe my luck!
