Panzer BlackHawk seized threads

Question for everybody out there!

I think I might have an issue with some seized threads on my Panzer Blackhawk... Just above the Locking Ring is another joint in which it is able to be unscrewed... i am not able to get that part to turn... does anybody have any tricks to get it off?

Rubber dishwashing gloves are what help me. I locked up my locking ring on my Panzer so bad I had to get a new one. So I learned fast.

Try heat and cold. Heat the part on the outside, that will expand it. Cool the part on the inside, that will shrink it.

After you get it apart give some thought to noalox. It contains grease to stop the locking and zinc to improve contact. Use it very sparingly on steel, copper, brass, whatever. As an added bonus it makes poorly machined threads feel a little better.
