Hey all, i just went through the process of taking my kfl v2 apart and cleaning everything out. When i was putting it all back togeather i noticed the center post that goes through the middle of the base up to the deck, i cant seem to get the air holes to line up with the hole on the side of the base. It still works but now it leaks everywhere when i fill it up and this makes the air hole adjuster useless. How am i supposed to line up the holes if i tighten it all the way down they dont line up, but if i losen it abit to where it is lined up its too lose and the piece it holds down wont stay put

This is a common problem with some clones , you might need to sand the positive block down on the underside to get the center post tight and the air holes lined up , also if the insulater under the positive block isn't lined up properly with the block itself you'll get leaks .

Well, then how was it lined up perfectly when i bought it? I never had this problem until i took it apart. If it was lined up then there should be a way to line it up now

On my clone the holes don't line up either but I don't have any leaking. I think the problem comes from your build and/or the amount of cotton.
No, no leaking. It just leaks when i fill it up. Then its good. Im waiting on some syringes so hopefully thatll fix it.

It just seems to leak easier now that those holes dont line up. But ya, its only when i first fill it up.

On mine, the alignment of the airhole in the post was immaterial - it's a hollow screw with a perpendicular hole that sits inside a small chamber so it doesn't have to face the airhole in order to deliver airflow.

If it's leaking, I suspect it's a seal that got lost during cleaning perhaps, or the coil is sitting too close to the airhole; if e-liquid bridges the gap between the air hole and the coil, capillary action will take over and drain your tank out the airhole.

That's just my experience, yours may actually need to be lined up. Is it a clone or the genuine article?

You are correct in saying that if it was indeed lined up properly , but many clones do come out of alignment , a friend of mine had two Ehpro KFL + V2 clones that came that way , one was 1/4 turn out and adjustable the other was much further off and his only solution was to shorten the positive block to get it properly lined up , he insists that it made a difference in performance , your only other solution is to replace the center post .
