Flavor the taifun, vapor the kayfun.
I founded them both to be easy to build. The taifun is lacking a little in the vapor production department without a few changes
I pulled out the airflow control completely and wrapped it at 1.2 with 28h ribbon kanthal and used a wide bore driptip.
Have me unmatched flavor and serious cape production:
I'm about to dump all of my kayfuns and switch taifun.

I doubt I'll get rid of them- lol.
Love the kayfun still- especially in nano mode for the mini or stingray in 350 mode.
All of the kayfuns i have lose the whistle once the afc screw was removed.
The Taifun is just a better vape all around for me. And the nano kit I tried for it broke after a few days of use.

30 g ribbon wire braided with 2 strands of 32g
Comes in at 0.8ohm
Running it on my copper/black stingray with a vtc5.

Removing the air screw helps. I love the more air flow most of my KFL air screws are removed

Ditto here..........throw that AFC screw away, dont need it.
That said, the Kayfun 3.1 airflow is better and doesn't whistle after removing the AFC screw. With the screw removed on both the KFL+ and the 3.1, the 3.1 airflow is more open.
THAT said, the Taifun is just right without any AFC.

For me, i prefer Russian over kayfun due to better airflow. But IMO, nothing beats Squape R and GG Tilemahos,

I replaced my Taifun bottom spring and O ring to insulator..so far no leak..

Yes I have it. Seems taste better or might be spending more so taste better. It's all in the mind

Money has never wasted. It all depend on the juice and the ohm. Once you hit it right it is all the way great vape, great taste

There are ppl swear by either but I am more toward KF

I hope the big boys fare better than their mini's! I've purchased both the Kayfun mini and the Taifun GS and don't care for either of them!
