So I just got my kayfun lite Plus (with an "adapter ring"). Still deciding on a mod for it but had to try it out with my ego c twist. It seems to work just fine with the 1.5 ohm coil I built. Aside from looking goofy am I in any danger to myself or the ego C twist?
Thanks for any input. Very soon I will be getting a MVP or other VV mod but for now just want to use it with I've got. (if it's safe)

Not at all. However, the builds you can do with the Kayfun will allow for wattages that you can't get on the Twist. My kayfun micro coils start at 10 Watts and go up. You would have to build a coil at 1.1 ohms or less to get that on a Twist, and I don't think it will fire with resistance that low. I know it would be close if it would. The Kayfun provides such a marvelous vape with straightforward micro coils and cotton, you really can't reach that potential until you get something a bit more powerful. My preferred ohm's is about 1.2, so I need a really good APV to deliver the right power to take advantage of it. Look for a device that will give you 6 volts and/or 15 Watts to take full advantage. I like the Sigelei V3/V5 as my number one in under $100 devices. Good luck!!

The Twist will work fine at that resistance. If you are using 28 gauge or thicker wire then you need more power than a twist will supply. I should say it will fire it but it will just take a while to heat the mass of wire involved. It seems like it wouldn't matter but you will notice a definite delay in heating on thicker wire. And just for the record that twist will fire down to about .8 ohm I have one and it will do it even though you would be exceeding it's limits. So don't do that.

Yeah, you'll want a 15 watt output minimum to see what the kayfun can do, preferably something that can put out 20-30 watts, running my Russian at about 22 watts right now and still haven't maxed out it's top end. But did get a chuckle picturing a Kayfun on an ego, makes me want to see the "Big Russian" on an ego, that would be a hoot!!! lmao.
