I have the same topcap and also want to put in more juice. I actually found a solution.... It now holds much more juice, without buying anything additional.
So you got the fasttech nano top cap, the new style one, and just used the existing pieces to make that, correct?

I have the same topcap and also want to put in more juice. I actually found a solution. Using the stock chimney I assembled the tank as follows:

topcap
middle ring
stock bottom ring

Hope this helps.
Have you measured how much juice this set up holds?

This is exactly how I've been using mine on a kayfun 3.1es, it holds 3ml of juice filling with a syringe in the fill port...... off topic: dont use the fill port with a metal needle, that goes bad really quickly :(

Filling from the top, I'm guessing would be less than 2ml, since the top cap is also the top most ring (above the clear window).... so top filling is only able to fill to the top of the clear middle window section, which just above the cylinder chamber and before the stem of the chimney. :(

This top cap needs either 1: best used with a kayfun lite bottom fill screw.... 2: someone who has a kayfun 3.1 who's fillport works all the time. 3: same alternate method of filling, like the kayfun ghost fill window or mybe a drilled hole in the side/top with a screw where you could top fill like the kfl.

I did the live chat and asked if you could use extra sections to make a tank that fits. The guy said that you have to use the long m-tank....Holy crap! $27.50 for a plastic tank. I would like one but, I don't want to pay that much.
Actually i just ordered two of the long chimney parts and here is how i have it setup. Replace the stock chimney with the long one. Take 3 of the regular sized metal rings and two of the regular clear window parts and alternate them to build the tank section. From top to bottom you would have:

Standard topcap
Metal ring
Transparent window ring
Metal ring
Transparent window ring
Metal ring.

This results in a large tank that holds alot of liquid.
Havent measured it as i just got the long chimney in the mail this morning. I have to large kayfuns now and they both seem to be working perfectly.

That looks promising. I've lost track of what to buy where though. What did you pay for the long chimney, where did you get it, and if I understand correctly, that's the only thing you needed to buy, everything else is stock standard Kayfun, correct?

All i bought was the long chimney from vaperev. I have numerous kafuns so i just used parts from those. If you have one kayfun then you would still need extra parts to make it into the long version. The kayfun tank has two metal rings that make up the top and bottom of the tank. Then the middle piece is either the metal middle piece OR the clear window piece. To make the long one, you would need the longer chimney and one more middle piece and one more ring from another kayfun.
HOWEVER, i just encountered a problem with both of mine that i made into the long mode and they are both leaking. Trying to figure out why, so this may not be a good setup yet. Will post if i get them working properly.

The price i paid for the long chimney from vaperev was $10 plus shipping and they are in stock at the moment. They want about $27 for the long clear tank though.

Thanks for the double check. Just wanted to make sure I understood correctly.

Please do post back if you figure out the problem and the fix. Could it be an old o-ring? Since you'd need to be getting the extra bits from somewhere, like the old parts bin ;)

The o rings are from the top caps that i have been using everyday so thats probably not it. It could be the new chimney is just slightly smaller. Will try replacing the o rings when i get home to see if thats it. It looks like the new long chimney might be just a little bit too short. I have some rings from a nano kit that i might try to make the tank a little shorter, but the chimney might stick up too far for my drip tip. It would work with the standard drip i think though.

Well, once i got home i replaced the o ring and it still leaked. It seems that the long chimney doesn't quite work with this setup. Vaperev might be right that it only works with the long m-tank.

ok, I figured out what the problem was with my attempted setup. I cleaned everything and put it all back together with the three metal rings from a regular kayfun and two of the plastic window sections and the long chimney. the one thing that I think was the cause of the leaking was the wick. when I built it again I put in just a little more cotton wick than I normally use and this time it works perfectly. been using it all day without any leaks or gurgling of any kind. it might be that just the extra weight of the greater quantity of liquid was making it leak. with the slightly larger wick it works great now.
