OK so it came in today and I have it built using 32gauge Kanthal at 2.0 ohms, which is how I build all my KFL+'s. I have to say I'm pretty impressed! The 'chrome' on the barrel pieces is not chrome, but rather semi-polished ss. The screws were nice and easy to tighten down. The kit comes with the extra barrel and chimney for long-mode, a set of o-rings and extra deck screws, and a bottle with a plastic needle tip.

I was not able to get the fill hole to work so I ended up filling it from the top whle holding my thumb over the airhole. No leaking so far! Here's some pics:

Don't mind the 'nicks,' it's just dust. One thing I did note is there is no SM logo on it. A good thing I suppose but it would have looked cool through the plastic barrel.

would you purchase the clone by Tobeco over the one by Ivogo? Ive never heard of Ivogo till now but I have Tobeco, so I would likely go that route. Ive still got a while to wait for the Microstick so I can decide what else will go with it this month.

I already have a Minigen Ti which is cool, but haven't found the right build yet, it's a tuff little genny!

I connot afford a Spheroid right now, boooo

I would say that I have probably run 15 tanks through it and have not had any leaking. My only complaint is that I have to take the top off to refill. I have tried everything I have to fill through the fill hole and it behaves as if it is blocked, the fluid just pushed back at you even with the ball bearing pushed in. Next time I rewick I will take it apart and work at it from the top.

I like it otherwise.

I have an OG 14500 coming on a trade.. only reason I bought it. I can see the plastic tank causing sealing issues. I didn't even consider looking at the deck more closely..screws for contacts with only resistance wire atomizer builds are something I consider practically a specification with making these, but I was surprised how easy the pins made assembly.. took me a minute to wrap, set, and wick. I will definitely get more when the bigger companies have them available.

Taifun GS not an option for you?

37, ph0n3 h0m3.

It sort of is.

The clearance for the Microstick is 16mm. The Taifun with the plastic tank (I wouldn't want to run a stainless tank - I like to see my juice) is 17mm. It can work if I get a 510 extension made by a guy in England which would make it possible to use it with the Taifun GS, but then that defeats the purpose of having such a small MOD. So Kayfun mini is it.

I could also get a Spheroid (which are supposed to be awesome) but I don't really want to spend $90 each when I need 3 or 4 of them.

The Taifun GS is 17mm around the tank but , only 15mm @ the base. This should work fine with the Microstick.

Cool, thanx. I ordered one from the same place you got yours, will be interesting to see if the fill hole thing is a problem with all of them or just some of them.
