Sounds like your deck is bad, unless you get lucky and find some screws that will bite I doubt you'll have much success. hope AC takes care of it for you.
Yeah thats what im thinking. Ive set up regular kayfuns before with no problems. I mean a few times the wire wouldnt catch but its easily correctable. With this one I feel like I've tried everything to get it to stay put by wrapping the wire around the outside and tried it through the inside with no luck.

I just tried using 26 guage and it still wont stay put

thanks for the help man!

Thought I would update on my Black KFM from Ivogo. It is obviously just the silver which has some sort of black finish, whatever it is, it seems to be holding up pretty well, inside no changes I can notice, outside, I have a couple small spots where the black is showing metal, I've not dropped it, nor used it in my pocket, so not real sure why it is showing metal.

Either way, the black finish seems to be fairly well done, but nothing which I would consider more durable then an good paint job. If it ever gets bad I will probably strip it, and apply cerakote (ceramic), which is probably one of the toughest finishes you can do at home, and it is available in a boatload of colors.

Angelcigs just listed a new KFM Nemi combo, calling it the Ivogo Baby 14500,14600Mechanical mod Kit. Interesting part is it appears the Mini may have been updated to match the diameter of the Nemi @17mm. Always something to buy, hopefully Ivogo has improved the finish of the Nemi! Will report back once it arrives, will be a while since it is not due in until the 25th of the month.

Interesting that the breakdown pics only show the 2 steel tank sections but the pic of the box shows the pic on the box with the Kayfun mini with a clear section. Its good in general that they've chosen to not copy either the Kayfun logo nor Nemesis death angel. Unfortunately they replaced them with their branding, big Ivogo on each. :(

Not crazy about the Ivogo logo either, no logo would have been nice, even nicer if they offered the 17mm KFM separate. Black versions will probably be soon as well. Also noticed the lack of clear tank images, I would assume since it is shown on box it would be included.

A little OT, but I'm really liking this Anima Clone from FT...

And the Ivogo Baby has landed! Pretty much the same as the Mini clone, but 17mm, and no long mode although the box does state, Normal, Long, and dripping mode. It does come with a clear tank section.

The Baby is a little better quality then the Nemi clone I got from Ivogo, at least it doesn't have a hideous bulge in it. Still not the best fit and finish, but passable. The machining on the 17mm Baby Kayfun is not quite as nicely done as the Mini, threads, and machine marks on the deck are a little rough, but really does not matter as it does work.

In the first picture you see a longer plastic tank this does NOT come with the set, it is from my Taifun GS, which happens to fit, and makes a pretty sweet clear long tank.

Overall pretty happy with the set, haven't built it yet, but expect it to be pretty much same vape as the mini.

Looking at the way it looks with your Taifun tank, I wish they just made it that way to begin with. I agree that the machining on the deck looks terrible, they definitely could have done a much better job on it. I absolutely love my Kayfun Mini, but I just wish it wasn't so darn long in tank mode. The stainless sections are nice but IMHO they aren't necessary at all. It should just be one shorter, clear tank. I'd buy one of those in a heartbeat.

I was thinking about getting a Taifun GS to use with my Nemi. Have you tried that combo? Or just robbed it of the clear tank section?

Its alright, my GS doesn't see much use anymore, its just to fiddly to build, and even when I get it working perfectly it randomly decides to dump a tank of juice. Only marginally better flavor to me, otherwise pretty comparable to the KFM, so it really isn't worth the hassle to me. But yeah it works well on the Nemi when it works.

I bet you can hit it with some acetone, if silkscreened.

If it's etched, brush it out.

The Ivogo logo on the nemi clone is quite deep laser engraved, it would be tough to get rid of. Kamry does make a logo-less Nemi clone though, and can be had for under $20, think it is called the Robot.

And finally an update on the 17mm Kayfun, or Baby as Ivogo chooses to call it. After building it, I tried to fill it, and only a small amount of juice trickled to the bottom, after close inspection they did not allow enough clearance where the bottom tank, and top tank join to, the closeness of the lower chimney does not allow juice to flow freely, this even with a 50/50 juice, it all pretty much just sat in the top section.

I've already fixed it, broke out the Dremel, and a mini barrel sander, about 35 minutes of sanding and it is fine. I cannot believe they don't test this stuff before releasing it.

I'll post up some pics of the issue once I empty the tank of juice currently in the Taifun clear tank on it.

EDIT: Here is a picture AFTER I've already removed about half of the ledge, should be enough clearance now, if not I can still remove some more

Still not enough room for 50/50 to flow freely, here is a shot of the inside with it assembled, forgive the towel fuzz, and I couldn't get a good clear shot of the bottom, but you can see the little amount of clearance, it does leak down in a couple minutes now, but have to cut it some more...

Anyone know where to get replacement isolators for the positive block?

Haven't seen them anywhere, probably get one from Svoemesto, unfortunately it may cost more then you paid for the clone once its shipped. What happened to it? If it arrived bad I'd hit up the vendor you purchased from.

EDIT: Just got an email from Angelcigs, Happy hour special $21 bucks for the black mini!

I guess that's what I'll have to do, still expensive for an isolator though, as this one is not an Ivogo

I tried what I suggested in my comments (in another thread) about the Ivogo 17mm Kayfun. Use the clear tank section and top tank section upside down. Not with each section reversed end for end but with the top cap threads (of the metal section) at the base and the base threads (of the clear section) at the top cap. Since the two sections aren't of equal length, this moves the joint between them away from the chamber and instead its now at the chimney. Just a small amount but enough that liquid can flow between sections where before the joint was at the chamber and the clearance just wasn't enough. You just have to turn your mod upside down to see how much e-liquid you have left. Not an ideal solution but a workable one (my regular 40/60 PG/VG liquid flows readily). And no Dremel required ;)

I will second those original thoughts though. How could anyone, even a non-vaper, manufacture something like this and not see it wasn't usable as designed?
