Kayfun mini whistling fix

My kayfun mini made a whistling sound when using it. What I did was to make a tiny little coil , insert it into the airhole and now the whistling is gone. I leave a little end of the wire outside the air hole to make it easy to remove it if necessary.


Just wanted to share. Guess it works with other types of rba to.

Funny, yesterday i watched a swedish review of the kayfun.
He also found out after some searching that, making a little "coil" out of a mesh and put it inside the hole, would remove the whistling sound.

Heard you can bevel the air hole someway and that would fix it. I personally backed the AFC screw all the way out on my lite+. No more whistle and I can take lung hits Lol

I have the 3.1 ES and it was whistling too so I took the garbage Kanthol coil wire that is usually thrown out when you get a new tank;-) and took a few wraps around a 5/32 bit and slid it in the vent just far enough to stay in and instantly fixed the whistle with very minimal drag. Just backed the air adj screw off a half turn and she's runnin like it should.
