For those that own both the authentic and clone versions of svoemesto and Russian. Do all these devices, clone or real, have the same plastic parts inside these devices? Like, the tanks for instance, are they all made of the same type of material that will be susceptible to tank cracking juices? And then the other small white plastic pieces including the positive post insulators and the positive post block. Are the authentic ones not using teflon parts there?

Do we have any machinists in the house who would be will to take a crack at building these parts in Teflon? I do not see any of these specific parts made of any reasonably good material anywhere. If a machinist were to take the time to make Teflon upgrade kit for most of the devices he/she could make some good money I would think? Or is Teflon to soft?

Any thoughts?

There are Kayfun rebuild kits that include upgraded positive blocks, thicker insulators, silicone for under the positive block, o-rings, screws etc.

As far as Teflon I don't know of any vape related devices using Teflon. I imagine because Teflon scratches up very easily and their have been reports that burning Teflon is highly toxic. Look it up it's been a stir with Teflon coated cookware.

As far as the center and whole body polypropylene pieces there are several companies selling quartz tank kits.

You do realize Teflon has dangerous off gassing right? If you had not noticed - no more Teflon pans.

Teflon cookware can damage your health | Natural Health 365

Then again, it is a Dupont Patented product and they likely reached end of protection just like he R-12 Freon/Ozone scam that netted them millions on R134 and grossed the Government millions in increased Federal taxes on R-12 sales.
And people think the FDA will be any better. :glare:

Well, I just bought a 6" X 12" X 1/32" piece of Chesterton ECS-W PTFE sheet. Seems to soft but it is working perfectly. I cut a small piece for under the deck, that little square piece that starts to melt and sag after awhile for chain vapers like myself. Put it in there and got it as hot as I could, ie, chain vaped a full tank in less than 15 minutes. This would have definitely melted the old plastic square piece. I took it apart to see if the heat distorted the new teflon part in any way and it did not! Success! I'm going to put this new teflon part I made into all my Kayfun devices. Yes, I was pretty disappointed to see that little square plastic piece start to deform after about a month in my Kayfun devices. Its nice to know now that I can make these pretty much last a lifetime, and not have to pay some ridiculous price for another plastic piece of the same quality that will not last very long.
