Look fine to me! That's a fancy looking coil you got there btw... :)

Thanks Natureboy :toast:

yeah, I don't really understand what kind of issues people are having to refill it. it doesn't seem to block it at all, maybe 1% blocked at the most. wish I could get a better picture of the internals but it barely touches the fill hole.

I think it is ABSURD that the kayfun is so damn expensive, and uses polycarb plastic. And people wonder why the majority opt for the clones instead of the original. At least the price is honest for the clones....

For how much the kayfun costs, you'd think in the very LEAST it would be polypro plastic, not polycarb.

Ever see what they charge for replacement tanks? Or... *shiver*.... The M-tank? You could get a whole Protank 2 and a handful of replacement (shaped) glass tanks for the same price. Utterly ridiculous, IMHO.

In all fairness tho... It *is* Makrolon. Sounds so much better than polycarbonate. /sarcasm.

You could buy a million Protanks and replacement glass and still not get nearly as good of a vape that the Kayfun offers.

With that said, I also think $50 for glass is too high. The authentics AND the clones both come with the stainless steel section, and it really isn't a big deal to use.

Both authentics and clones can be vaped until almost completely empty, where vapor and flavor slightly drops off. I've been using the steel tank in a few of mine and have never misread an empty tank.

I was thinking of the $30 polycarbonate M-tank section for the Kayfun. No matter how you spin it or how well it vapes... charging $30 for a piece of polycarbonate is a rip-off in my books.

Not to be too bashful or negative here... but I do think the steel section is a PITA. It's not about knowing if it's down to its last drops. It's about knowing if it needs a re-fill before leaving the house, and knowing when to stop re-filling it to leave space for the air bubble. Mind you, I'm mainly a gennie user. Used to "hey look, needs a re-fill" --> pop cap, squeeze a bottle, good to go.

Again, sorry for the negativity :)

Alright, this kit gives me problems. Becauce the kit is a bit longer than my Lite's original sections it make's the chimney a bit too short to get tight connection with the top gasket, as a result the atty leaks from the top. I'm thinking to make a SS washer to be able to rase the chimney from the chainber section a bit. Also, filling the Lite through the filling hole is impossible even with a 22 guage needle. Filling from the top is only the option.
I would have sent it back but I really want to vape banana juices. Will deal with all the nonses because there are no alternatives yet. For 50 bucks very disappointed even though the quality of the kit is great.

For the price and performance not being up to par, why not just use the SS center piece? It's pretty easy to tell when its empty.

I know it's a bit off topic but if you must see your juice level a Squape clone with the glass tank is an option for $50 and under.

Wow. Thank for the recommendation. I will get Squape instead.
