There are many clone makers, some are better than others. I don't own a true kayfun, but I own about 6 clones. EHpro is great, while the FT bottom barrel is not. With that said, they all vape and vape well. The difference is noticeable though, especially when you get down to pieces like screws and plastic tanks. The cheaper clones are going to usually have poorer threads and screws that strip out more easily.

Again however they all vape.

I'll agree to disagree.
I have 5 FT Kayfuns, all under $14 and every one performs flawlessly. 2 travel everywhere with me filled with my ADV.

As for - are the clones as good as the original? Functionally I'd say Yes, many are as good. Build wise - depends on materials quality and machining care.

if you are a set it and forget it type of builder, you won't notice the difference. if you plan on having it opened up everyday tinkering with it, yeah i'd say the authentic is worth it. i have the real deal kfl+v2, and although i don't regret dropping the dough to get it, i wouldn't do it again if given the chance. too many new styles that have dealt with the kf's shortcomings, see squape(R) or aethertech orchid.
