I currently have an ehpro kayfun lite clone that I love, except for the threading. I'm going to switch my entire lineup from 7 ProTank II's with aero tank bases to all (7) kayfun/russian clones. I want them all to be the same product. I'm looking at the ehpro, tobeco, and hcigar clones. What I'm most interested in is the thread quality, because I figure the vape quality should all be pretty similar given adjustable airflow and similar (if not the exact same) chamber/chimney sizes. So which of the three is the best, highest quality clone? Please, no debates about the morality of cloning. I'm poor and am not going to spend $700+ for tanks... Thanks guys!

I honestly don't know the producer it is but i recently bought kayfun v2 from fasttech and it's threadings and all is perfect.
However i've only used for one day so i can't commit a full review just yet. But the juice channels are great and threadings are smooth as hell, way better than my other clone. (also from FT)
And a plus is that a nano kit is included. :)

I've another 3x on my way here and i've yet to see if they're just as great :)

Edit: Why would we flame you? I'm pretty sure the majority is using clones. :)
IMO it's not worth the full price when the clones are just as / nearly as good.
I mean the orginals is way over the top in pricings aswell... (We'll thats my opinion atleast)

You say that because you're a reasonable person. I started another thread asking for people to post pics of DNA 30 mods because I'm in the market for a new mod and wanted to see if there's anything cool out there that I've not seen yet before I commit to a major purchase. It quickly spiraled into a clone hating thread after someone posted a pic of a ChanaMod... S H I T happens, so I just wanted to put it out there up front that I'm not looking for clone-judgement lol...

I have a black Kayfun 3.1 made by Ivogo, and the machining quality is fantastic. Actually better than on my Russian 91%! Other than that, Hcigar probably makes some of the best quality clone products.

I've heard so many good things about Hcigar's mod clones that I figured they must be putting out pretty decent products. I'm leaning towards their kayfun lite v2 clone because I found one that comes with the M tank for $44. I just wanted to throw a net out there before putting my cash on the line.

Hops... if you're in the market for a new regulated mod, look at the E-Mech from Dovpo... the one with a Transformer logo on it. 30 watt VV/VW, and pretty solidly built. Going for around $100-$120. One of the employees at my local B&M sold his Hana clone so he could buy one. And BTW... I have a Hana clone and love it!

Eh, I think I'm already sold on an authentic Hana... I want an authentic Evolve chip, and the Hana just gets my juices flowin, metaphorically speaking lmao! I'm just tired of these cheap mods that last 8 months then start acting funny... It was either DNA or provari for me, and I hate that one-button menu system, so DNA wins for me...

Is cool... I would have gotten an authentic Hana If I could have afforded it! That, or a ZNA from House of Hybrids.

I totally get what you're saying, I'm having to scrimp and save for the Hana. But it's in the hope that it's the last mod I'll have to get for a LONG time... I could have gotten 2 Hana's with the money I've spent on Vamo's, MVP'S, and "x"max's over the past couple years. I just want something that works right and doesn't leave me hanging...

Edit: Holy S H I T!!! You're in Berea? I went to EKU, and lived in Richmond for 10 years!

I agree , i won't spend $40.00 when i found that $16.00 can get me an incredibly kick .... Kayfun lite from Fasttech , i would have never believed it but it's threading is perfect , it's airflow control is perfect and it comes with an o ring equipped fill screw, never leaks and hits like a train.

Juice channels are deep and the deck is super easy to build on.

Once threaded it's very very difficult to see the seams , it's fit and finish is that good . Now the problems , Fasttech has a ton of clones and you really have to research them to find which is the good ones but when you find one load up.

It's electronics just because you have an authentic chip doesn't mean it will last longer... Just like any electronics they can go at day 1 or day 2000. If your clone busts you can buy 2 more before you get to price of authentic but if money ain't a thing do yo Thang

I have Tobecco, EhPro, and HCigar KFL+ clones, The Tobecco looks great, functions great, the machining on the threads is a bit sloppy and crunchy, things just don't fit together very smoothly, but that's only an issue while taking it down or putting it together, no "day-to-day" quality issues that I've encountered.

The Ehpro and HCigar are close to each other and better than the Tobecco, I feel the HCigar is better quality than the EHPro (which really surprised me) All the threads are super smooth, everything fits together great, functions flawlessly and looks great too. Airflow is smoother on the HCigar than any of my other kayfuns (including authentic one) It's hard to say if that's a luck issue or if they are all like that, airflow smoothness seems to vary between the exact same manufacturer and model so it's hard to make a fair comparison on that one.

If I were to buy another clone (which I plan to) I'd personally go with the HCigar. Not only is the quality the best (from the samples I have to work with) but you can find the HCigar for around $40 which includes a complete new tank body in nano size (new top cap, rings, chimney) which puts the value well above the other clones IMHO.

The link above to FT appears to be the HCigar I'm talking about which explains why it's $30 on FT, although the HCigar comes with a branded zipper case. From what I've heard much of this stuff comes from the same factory, with companies like HCigar selling the ones that meet a certain quality standard, while the rest are sold as generic on sites like FT. Take that with a grain of salt but it rings true to me, especially considering some of the really really janky stuff I've seen come from FT. My HCigar also has full markings on the base, where as the FT only has SM.
