There are simply too many variations. My brain is about to EXPLODE.

I've watched 3 dozen videos. There are a few different kinds of real kayfun, and each one has a medley of clones that are all slightly different as well. When it came to like, hcigar, tobeco, or like ehpro. I could meticulously analyze each one and then decide.

Easy.

I'm new to vaping and really like my aqua clone. It just doesn't hold much juice and it can kinda be a pain to deal with when you fill it. The body and o-rings are tight, and turning the airflow without cranking open the juice, then pinching that little itty bitty top and trying to turn it without turning the body...

And then doing it every couple hours without making the one pivotal aqua mistake. (Cinching down the top ring without inverting it properly which creates a hydraulic push and floods your chimney and gushes juice out the side onto your mod)
Again, great atomizer. I run it with 1.2ohm kathal and cotton.

I would like a less fussy single coil tank that has a chimney and some form of airflow control. I'm not trying to blow clouds, I take mouth to lung hits and am not concerned about vapor. As long as it's average - and the flavor is clean and good, I'm good.

Which kayfun do I want?

I think I want the kayfun lite - plus? Or the Russian? Which is the best clone?

It's going on an Hcigar nemesis clone. I have good batteries and am doing fairly good building coils.

If it's great, maybe I'll buy a real one. Or maybe I'll buy 3 more clones instead.

Should I be looking at the taifun at all? Seemed more annoying than a kayfun?

Any input is great, I know there are 40 of these threads floating about. I'm just on overload and could use some clear answers.

I have the Hcigar 3.1 and I really like it. Just ordered the Kayfun lite + from ephro today. Having adjustable airflow is a must for me so I'll probably steer clear of the lite, however I'm not 100% on if the lite has the airflow adj. anyway lol. I'd like to get a russian 91% but will probably have to wait until I start work again.

I have an HCigar 3.1 and it's great, except for the fact that the air adjust screw is stripped (it just gets punched all the way in when I try to adjust it).....it came like that, I didn't strip it...I just leave it in the "all the way out towards me" position and it's fine......oh well, you can't expect all of the clones to be perfect....

The new "Lite Plus" does have airflow adj, btw....

I've tried most of them. After months I prefer the full ES model (I have a true Russian 91)

I always go back to this... https://www.fasttech.com/p/1494700

It's my everyday work horse, built like a tank. I actually just ordered another one. I don't think they provide the driptip adapter any more but you can get them separately for a few bucks. $2.59 Replacement Spare Parts for Kayfun v3.1 Atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I agree with this. I also prefer the Full size ES and I also have found my better quality clones are this same one he has listed from FT. None are as good as my original for quality, but this one is the closest. (two cents and all)

asmo6, I own several clones: EHPRO (both the 3.1ES and the Lite version), the FastTech one that was mentioned above, a Tobeco Lite, and a HCigar 3.1ES.

Of all of them, I think the HCigar seems to be the best built, with the FastTech a very close second. Threading on both is smooth. But, the HCigar is easily available from US-based vendors. FastTech is shipping routlette. My Kayfun took 2 months to receive, then came with plated brass deck and positive post screws (they did take care of, with the replacement parts arriving within 2 weeks). I bought the HCigar from a local B&M shop.

The EHPROs and Tobeco are decent units, but not as nice as the HCigar or FastTech clones.

On a side note, somebody mentioned the Fogger... I have a v2 version that drove me up a WALL trying to get a consistent build on, which I never achieved. Go with a Kayfun microcoil/cotton build. Simple, reliable vape every time.

Ive got the RSST,R91C ( fastech) and the HC3.1 (HCigar) and the HC3.1 is machined perfectly. The FasttechR91C has crunchy threads and the 510 threads are a tad small, it doesnt really fit well until screwed down completely ( it wobbles till tight). The RSST is a good unit but gives a different quality of vape compared to the HC3.1...

There is one thing I have noticed about the HC3.1, it will drain the tank completely dry, the R91C and RSST always have juice in it when the dreaded dry hit occurs...

Multiple sellers on Ebay have them for around $40.00 shipped. 101vape has them for 44.99 + 1.99 shipping, great vendor.

I will agree with the others...The HCigar is pretty awesome. It is 91% as nice as a Russian. The ONLY thing about it that is sub-par is the plastic tank piece. Lots of aftermarket options for replacements though.

I have an H Cigar 3.1 from 101vape and a tobeco kf lite from FT. Both have air control. FT clone leaked from fill screw, i put a small oring on screw and its working perfect. The HCigar 3.1 was a little more expensive but it was delivered in 3 days. The only thing i do not like about the HCigar is the fill hole is on the side, and my juice bottles do not fit in the hole making a little harder to fill than the FT KFlite. I do not notice any performance differences.

I have several Kayfun clones, from several makers. I like the HCigar Kayfun 3.1, but I also don't like the fill hole on the side. The full size Kayfun (3.1) is a big, tall unit. I prefer the Kayfun Lite because of the bottom fill, and it's a bit lighter than the full size model. I have them from Tobeco and SvoeMesto.

I just got a Kayfun Lite Plus by EHpro, and it's quickly becoming my favorite. It takes standard 510 drip tips, the fill hole is a bit larger so you can fill it with a regular bottle (no needle tip required), and it has adjustable airflow. I have a few RBAs from EHpro, HCigar, Tobeco and Svoemesto. The only ones which really give me problems is the Svoemesto due to the center post extending too far past the threads.

All the RBAs I have are excellent in my opinion, and it's just a matter of which features best suit me.
